Derrek came to the villa in the afternoon. He found Yasmin on the porch overlooking the backyard and was relieved to discover that she had not been locked in the guest room. He approached her with a smile, which froze in the corners of his lips when he noticed her looking in the distance in a daze. His eyebrows furrowed and his face became solemn as he assumed she was sad because of Declan.
"Hey…" He pulled a smile over his lips.
Yasmin turned her head and looked up, bending her neck. She seemed to be surprised at first, then she smiled back at him.
"Derrek…"
"You look…" He wanted to say "beautiful," but instead said "fresh." He paused for a while to look at her and asked, "What were you thinking so intently?" He stretched his lips from ear to ear, but his mind was full of curiosity.
Yasmin resumed her downcast look as she turned aside. "I am bored."
"Then let's go out somewhere," Derrek stated, with excitement in his eyes.
