Declan came out of a gynecologist's chamber with Tina, who had arrived early for a check-up. She actually wanted to meet Declan. She had tried to call him all night but had been unable to reach him. She was concerned that Declan would begin to avoid her now that Yasmin had awoken from her coma. So, she pretended to be in pain and called him first thing in the morning.
Declan was worried about the child and asked her to come down to the hospital.
Following the check-up, the lady doctor confirmed that everything was fine. She also informed them that such discomfort or cramping was normal during pregnancy.
"How is Yasmin doing?" Tina asked, pretending to be worried.
"She is recovering," Declan replied softly, suppressing the discomfort within his heart.
