"She is stable now," the doctor replied, his lips curled slightly. "The good news is that we have observed some brain activity. She might be having nightmares."
"Nightmares!" Declan felt terrible.
Nightmares often haunted him, and Yasmin was his savior. How could she possibly have nightmares? His nightmares seemed to have infected her.
His heart was filled with dread until he heard the doctor say, "It is a good sign. She will soon wake up. We are moving her to the ward the next morning if everything goes well."
The doctor gave him another smile before walking away.
