Yasmin stalled momentarily, then spun around to leave.
"Wait…" Earl hurried over and blocked her way. "Stop avoiding me."
"Step aside," she said sternly.
"How is she?" he asked without caring about her fury. "She is not answering my calls. I am worried."
"Step… aside," she repeated vehemently.
"She is carrying my child. I need to know how she is doing." Earl was helpless.
Yasmin took a deep breath as she looked up at him. "You heard what Declan said, didn't you? He is asking you to strengthen your bond with Amber. Do you think you can divorce her and be with my sister? Have you considered the consequences? I can't even imagine what action he will take against you and my family." She held up her index finger. "It's better you stay away from Natasha. First, convince Amber to leave you. This is the only way to solve this problem."
Earl had a helpless expression on his face as he said, "Don't ask me to stay away from her. I will go insane."
