Later that afternoon…
Yasmin was amazed at the furnishing of the house. "Wow! Natasha. You are quite lucky to have a well-furnished house. It's lovely." She grinned. Excitement was visible on her face. "I am truly impressed with your colleague." She went into the master bedroom.
"Yeah, me too," Natasha murmured, feeling guilty for lying to her. She didn't tell her that it was Earl, not a colleague, who had arranged this house. She was afraid Yasmin would suspect her of having ties to Earl.
"Natasha!" Yasmin exclaimed as she came out of the bedroom. "Did you see the view from the balcony? The city is visible." She grinned and clapped joyfully. The next second, she pouted and added, "From my balcony, I can only see the tall, white boundary walls, wired with security cameras, and a few guards roaming around the area. It's boring. But the view from here is spectacular." She giggled.
Natasha returned her smile as she continued cooking.
