Chapter 1 - Inception

The atmosphere of the remote hillsides of western Purple Winter at that time—was noisier than anywhere else.

Because of the 'Dog Cage' which has been raining heavily since this afternoon. Making the contours of the already loose soil, get more random when various dark red liquids joined through the gap in the door.

The thunderous gunfire seemed to be in fierce competition with the sound of lightning before the incessant barking of dogs rumbled with hunger rang out loudly.

"Get it done!" said the man in the slick, dark suit. His bead seemed comfortable staring at her fingernails haughtily. Powerful. Nathan then carved a charming smirk, when he saw the blood had arrived at the end of his footwear.

It was as if they had come out in droves without the permission of the owner of the body who was panting for pain. This was painful torture for Anwar because he was interrogated several times with painful torture.

"S-sorry sir," Anwar stammered as he pleaded because his lips were not perfect. He is a police officer. a few months ago applied for a job at Zoger Company; Nathan's company, which operates under the guise of a frozen food supplier.

This company is running much faster than similar businesses. Perhaps that is also one of the supporting factors, why the company has caused a lot of speculation among the public.

"Kiss my shoes!" Nathan said, rising from his seat. Then aligned his feet towards Anwar's head, who desperately looked up with his battered face. The very rancid aroma in the room.

However, Nathan seemed so used to it that he dared to bend over with his hands on his hips. Smiling maniacally when the man in front of him was pleading, perhaps the twenty-eight-year-old man wanted to have compassion on the officer.

"Wow... you're amazing," Nathan finally said. The man's mind immediately clapped his hands cheerfully, because Anwar pushed himself away, to reach Nathan's shoes.

He laughed out loud in his laughter as he took off his shoes. Nathan's sharp nose looked wrinkled innocently, from joy.

However, he was both satisfied and angry to see Anwar suffer. Surprisingly, this man was still alive despite being beaten by three of Nathan's trained subordinates—before arriving here.

Nathan then took a shaky breath while bracing himself arrogantly. The information he needed, this time again swallowed failure. That was the reason, why he was so angry about the situation. The plan that he arranged neatly, automatically stalled until inevitably delayed again.

Unlucky! Nathan launched a curse after turning around. Move away from crazy thoughts to violently slam the door, and move to another room.

Just enjoying alone from behind a wall, moans and thrashing blindly from Anwar Five seconds later the human scream echoed faintly after the sound of jerrycans being flung onto the floor.

Nathan closed his eyes with a lopsided smile, for the officer might have been completely burned. Devastated greedily by the red rooster.

Moving to the single sofa, Nathan seemed to be pulling his hair in frustration there. As the commotion began to subside. It was still dark outside.

Because it's still two o'clock in the morning, the walls with abstract patterned wallpaper are shaking their heads watching this handsome man sulk in annoyance.

'Strange, it's getting crazy.' that's probably what things would say if they could speak. The more confused Nathan's brain was when the supply of goods, Rey's stepbrother kept thwarting it.

He snorted in disgust as he reached into his trouser pocket then took out his cellphone and received a message that his extraordinary uncle, namely: Raihan, had succeeded in thwarting an attempt to send drugs that Nathan was going to distribute overseas.

"Ahh mother, give your child this strength," Nathan half mumbled. He imagined the beautiful face of his mother, Dewi. His heart was touched by anxiety, about how the woman died.

Cristian, stabbed the dagger dozens of times into the body of the goddess. Until he was able to awaken the souls of the monsters that had always resided in Nathan's body.

He had a grudge because the father figure he had once glorified, turned out to be not that much depraved with Raihan and Rey.

The three of them had to turn to stone or reborn shrimp altogether, Nathan said as he clenched his fists on the leather sofa.

He had to be strong to be respected, as well as one level higher to fight this injustice. Not long after that.

"Tuk-tuk, may I come in?" Nathan squinted doubtfully toward the door frame.

Then rolled his lazy eyes, when the twenty-five-year-old youth threw a joke. With a bucket of choc mint ice cream in her arms, Alam even stepped into the same field.

"Go away, this is not your place!" While massaging his forehead, Nathan tried to ignore the presence of his younger brother who was sitting cross-legged across from him.

Time and time again, Nathan also told Alam to manage Zoger Company, then stay away from heinous things like this.

"You lost again," Alam sneered. Making a Nathan stroke his chest with concern.

He is now looking in the direction where his sister appears to be plugging her eardrums with AirPods before covering her face with a dominant green book.

Nathan then tiptoed a little to answer the ice cream on the nightstand.

"Argh, that cop!" growled Nathan for the umpteenth time. He kept scooping the ice cream until his mouth was full of the cold food.

Meanwhile, Alam was putting on a serious face with eyes fixed on seeing his sister grumpy. Slowly opened the sheet before lifting his face and saying, "Brother... do you believe in magic?" Alam rose from a sitting position.

Also took off the earphones after closing the book briefly. Leaving Nathan who was stunned with dipped eyebrows, not understanding.

"No such thing?" Nathan said too casually. Instead of answering his sister's words, he gave a response that sounded like a question as well as a statement in the ears of the young man named Alam.

"You're right," he finished with a small chuckle, "if there was one, I would get it for you Brother..." added Alam.

Then he squatted down bringing his brother's legs resting on his knees. Quickly pulled out a box, and put shoes on Nathan's bare feet.

Wow! This man's mouth opened spontaneously thanks to digesting the situation. Staring at his brother's head made him even more stunned.

"Don't think too much about it. Crystal and I will be fine, we're not kids anymore. You don't have to worry that much... you'll be handsome, defeated by me, want?" challenge Alam.

Like an arrow that hit the target, Nathan's heart suddenly sank. Alam realized how Nathan didn't want himself to be hurt or killed if he was involved in this dark world.

His life, of course, is a guarantee that Crystal can also be dragged down because of the profession. Maybe that's the reason why Nathan is so sensitive, these days. The enemy can come at any time, right?

Nathan then looked at the book that Alam was reading, the title was quite a cliche, namely: The Greatest Magic In This World. From the cover alone it's an image of a Victorian-era royal, it must be boring—Nathan started to think before he grabbed and bugged!

"Aww, brother! Why did you hit me with such a thick book? It hurts!" The Alam of the groan reflex is complete with the lower lip brought forward.

He is really good when it comes to drama, that's what Nathan caught.

"Learn management, not that kind of trash Deck!" Nathan said casually. While placing the object roughly on the nightstand. While those who are being given life advice, only move their heads—make fun.

"You know I don't have shoes?" Nathan laughed blandly when he asked this. Seizing the snack bar from his brother's grasp, then ate it in two bites.

"To lick the shoe before killing it seems monotonous and that's all!" Allam's sarcasm. Made Nathan focus his full attention on the man in the striped casual shirt.

Alam already knows too much. What are Nathan's habits, before ending the life of the dissidents? To be precise, perhaps the ultimate intruder in his brother's every activity.

Because if they've been tortured like that, they can't live a normal life right? Nathan spontaneously replied, "I let them continue to be sycophants as lickers—."

"Yes, sycophants must still be lickers. Fire is paid for by fire. Lives are exchanged for lives, even monsters have to be fought back with monsters... right?" cut Alam with confidence.

That sentence was like Nathan's daily meal, making his little brother grin thinly, staring no less fiercely. At the same time, the room lights suddenly flashed, and the curtains blew louder as Alam said carelessly.

"Teach me too to be a monster Brother, we have to be crazy to stay sane!" Lightning suddenly struck the trees outside. It was as if the universe had agreed to his brother's swearing.

Nathan froze without the slightest intention of refuting because it was the truth. Brack! Not that he would immediately agree.

It's just why the green book on the nightstand, suddenly fell right between their two bodies? Each page is even moving, opening.

It was as if the wind, which came from nowhere, would show something. Slow but gripping. Until the brothers looked down to pay close attention.

How the paper creaks and rotates by itself. Before stopping on a page with the tagline: Magic Is All Around Us. Without Even Knowing It.
