Being a commoner can be both a curse and a blessing in disguise. He wasn't born into a rich family but his family wasn't that poor as well.
His parents were hard-working peasants, they farmed for a living and all they wanted was to pave a brighter future for him. He was truly grateful and all he wanted to do was to give them a peaceful and comfortable life as they grow old.
