The group naturally decided to check out the cry for help, as proper human beings would do.

Hugo's expert traced the signal to another port area about a hundred kilometers away. They had three helicopters that would be going there, but they would also send a couple of boats from the Port Base in case some rescued people hoped to relocate.
They arrived at the area about half an hour later by air, while the boats were expected to arrive within a couple of hours.
