A THOUSAND SOLDIERS OF THE SUMMER KING rode into the fields green with springing grain. Though it had only been a fortnight past the harvest, many farmers in the Summerlands already had their ploughs on and about, tilling the soil in expectance of rain. Syveria was the southern Empire of the continent, Adramon, and though close to the Carrean sea, it never rained enough to sludge the gutters or flood the fields.
The farmers were grateful for that, and with the dawn of the new season, many Faithful sought the halls of the Grace Temple, calling to Ides and Solaris amidst washing candlelight to send them the rain. Some even chanted Nihila's name in petitions offered to the Pantheon. For the Faithful considered the Golden One a friend of the gods.
