The school bell rang, signifying the end of the second period. As soon as the students vheard the bell rang, they had immediately started walking out of the weapon hall. Or let me say, they were running out of the hall.
"Hey wait, we're yet to award the winner. Wait a little bit!" Bunnie tried to stop the students but they ignored him as they immediately left the hall.
While all this was happening, Xin had his eyes fixed on Anna but he had turned to look back for a second only to turn back and find Anna gone.
"Where did she go?" Xin said as he lifted himself off the ground. He didn't take Anna's hands when she offered to lift him and he recalled that she was standing right in front of him.
But where had she went to in such a limited time that Xin was distracted? Xin tried to look among the students perhaps she would caught a glimpse of her, but she was nowhere to be found.
"Xinny," he called. "Do you see Florence when she left?"
