Chase had no idea that the girl before him named Allyson was going to say that to him it sounded weird to hear this kind of war.
"Wait a minute, a war between man and woman, what the hell kind of war is that?" Chase says expressing his reaction on it.
"It was a war that truly happened here a long time ago. Do you wish to hear about it or not?"
"Yeah, fine, go on."
"Good alright then let's start with the time when there was peace between genders once before it was broken."
Allyson starts to talk about the time when man and woman were living together like a war was thought to never come to happen. They all lived in an Empire ruled by two opposite genders, a man and woman having married each other along with sharing equal power over the lands under them doing things together and achieving them together.
Years of peace went on for a time until an unknowing change caused a giant raft between the genders when the male ruler started to show changes, treating his female wife in a manner of someone who cannot be seen as an equal no more instead as a pet to do whatever he wanted.
"Hold on just like that the male emperor just one day after a good few years starts to become a cruel man. I find that to be bullshit from what I am hearing." Chase says, he shows the look of one to not believe what she is saying so far as true.
"Why don't you think a male could start to show their true nature by giving in to their greed and hunger for power to do horrible things?"
"No, you're right that there are those who could do such things, but males can't be the only ones, females also have such nature, not everyone could be innocent. no matter what there always two sides of the same coin."
"Sadly, you are right about that, if what we have been doing on these long years isn't proof enough to be a point."
Allyson went back to telling the story, returning to the point when the female empress couldn't take it any longer being treated as is and not only her, but the other females living there sharing the same fate of this unnatural change. So, she chose the best way out was to flee along with as many women that can come heading somewhere in an open land to settle in for a time that soon became the new home.
They needed to build and grow their army to battle against the male army which was causing acts of terror onto the female that didn't have that chance to break free. A battle that was quite the fight, numerous lives were lost from both sides, but in the end, the Empress's army was victorious, beating the male emperor's army and sent out at once to attack the empire on capture it, taking it away from her husband, someone she once loved with great care from the heart.
Slaying the man the woman was able to become the only ruler saving the remaining females that were kept as prisoners to do as please when in such a positon and the males still alive came to be the slaves from that day forward to no longer be placed as equals.
Since then, order was made as to the female empress and the women at her side were made to be the ones at the top. Yet that didn't last long as others had different ideas about how this empire should be ruled. They couldn't come to see eye to eye which brought about their union to a broken end to where two groups with different ideas on rules left the empire to build upon their own over the passing years.
"Let me guess that those women that attack belong to one of the other empires." Chase says.
"Yes, they did as we are at war with the other two as they are with each other."
"All because of an idea how the rulering so goes, I mean that got to be fucking dumb thing to fight over about."
"Hey, you don't know the full story to have the right to say that this was just something we were taught with when young."
Chase has doubts about the story. There is more to it than that, like there is more that wasn't explained, kept out for some reason that may be good or bad.
"Hey, what was the name of those two? You know the husband and wife who ruled the empire together before the fallout." Chase asked.
"Ah right the wife was named Belinda Hood, and the husband was Daron Rosa."
"So, no point in knowing more about the husband as he died, what happened to Belinda at the time after all that mess."
"After those who chose to leave Belinda was still an empress ruling the empire for a few years until she was no longer able when death came for her. There was no blood descent to take over the empress role despite those loyal to her asking that she has a child only that it be female since there were still males around, but the woman didn't refuse and instead chose someone perfect to take over after her passing."
Learning all about this was making poor Chase's head hurt, but it was good to know this now next was about the males that were kept alive.
"Alright, I got to know about the males and how they are treated." Chase asked this next question.
"They have treated as always slaves nothing more than that, well in a second-class manner."
"Yeah, that much, I got what I am asking is what as slaves or second-class are they to do."
"Well, the unusual labor, cooking, cleaning, or any other things they are ordered to do by the opposite."
Chase didn't like that and wouldn't want to end up like that, so he got to make a plan later.
"Man, this place sure is crazy to be completely different from my world." Chase says with a small smile on his face as the head shakes at the same time.
"About that, I still don't believe in you being from another world, but I would like to hear stories if you are willing to tell."
"Sure, I have no problem telling you, but this time we get some sleep, don't you think?"
"Agree it better we do get some sleep."
Allyson lays sideways flat on the ground while Chase lays his back against the wall as both felt the tiredness bring them to close their eyes to fall asleep.

[Next day morning]
Chase awakes first opening his eyes to see Allyson was still sleeping guessing she was more tired than he was.
"Funny this is a good chance for me to just leave." Chase said thinking about it but just threw it away in the next moment.
Chase gets up stretches his body out feeling some light pain from last night troubles while letting out a loud yawn at the time.
"Best to do something until this girl wakes up." Chase thought.
He sees that there are two things to do: explore the outside or check out the inside of the cave while the two are in. Chase picks to look inside the cave for the hell of it, making sure to keep the sword he took with him in case any dangers may come out from further within when no search was done coming upon the cave their first time.

After a time, there wasn't much to be seen as this cave looked to be fully empty no sighs of other life.
"Damn, I should have just picked outside and might have had something to do out there." Chase thought.
When Chase stops walking standing in one spot at that moment hears a weird disturbing sound of a short of Noise. The only thing is he doesn't have the best vision to see it given there wasn't much light shining inside this cave, but enough at least to notice something is still moving near him since the weird noise haven't stop.
it goes on a bit longer; nothing happens just only hearing the noise till soon feeling something wet hit his shoulder which made him look up to the ceiling of the cave. Whatever it was falling off the ceiling looked as if it was aiming to lead on Chase as he quickly forces his own body to move back to dodge that incoming, when safe now facing the thing that look like green Jello and it alive moving it body around.
"What the fuck are you," Chase said while watching this thing.
He couldn't tell if whatever that was being looked at right now was dangerous or not, that answer came fast when this thing randomly charged at him.
"Holy shit get away."
