"Ugh…." Chase groaned. His head was pounding and his throat was sore. He felt like he hadn't eaten or moved in years.
Blinking, he gathered himself.
"What?" The young man was surrounded by dense thick forest and tall towering trees.
"What the hell happened?"
He got up slowly, glancing hesitantly around his unfamiliar settings. "I don't remember walking to some woods, I was at that abandoned building hanging there before that storm came out of nowhere," he mumbled to himself.
He could have if the door to the rooftop door of the abandoned building didn't somehow refuse to open. That never happens when at times Chase would come up to be alone on random days.
Trying to figure out the reason behind all this was becoming a pain for Chase, so the next best thing was to seek out another human being to help him. There was no point in standing around doing nothing.
Chase started to walk around the area he was in, with nothing more than trees to look upon.
"Damn it! Am I in some kind of forest or something? This is getting annoying… Is there no way for me to find someone out there?"
It went on about nearly what Chase felt to be an hour that passed. Moving around, he stopped and threw a punch at a tree softly to prevent hurting himself, but enough to release his pent-up anger.
"Shit! Is there no one out here?!"
At that moment sounds were coming to nearby Chase which didn't take long for him to follow them to the bushes where he walked through to see whatever was making those noises.
Surprised, he discovered that it was a boar. This creature found something to eat meaning those sounds were this thing feeding.
"Alright, there is no way for me to expect that this is a boar. Yeah, I am somewhere else."
Watching this boar for a minute, Chase starts to move back slowly, making sure to prevent the creature from knowing that he was there, given how it will react to a human like him.
Unfortunately, Chase's luck didn't play well when he ended up stepping on a twig, snapping it under one of his feet, and creating noise for the boar to hear.
When it heard that noise the boar slowly turned in Chase's direction and the two made eye contact quietly.
Hoping for the best, that this thing didn't care about him, that didn't happen. His luck was trashier than he had expected. The boar made this loud noise and charged toward him.
"Oh hell, I don't need this now," Chase cursed, running away as soon as the boar started going after him.
Now having to deal with the problem of a boar wanting to attack him, Chase harnessed the power of all his strength to keep a distance from it.
"Come on, think of something to deal with it. This boar can't run forever."
Thinking fast as he could of a plan, at the moment something good did happen to him. From the top of a random tree, an unknown projectile was shot flying at a fast speed, hitting the boar right into one of its eyes.
Hearing the boar wailing in pain and wasn't in good condition to chase after him, Chase stopped looking back to see it lying on the ground. The boar was bleeding from the arrow piercing deep into its eye.
"Whoa someone killed this thing at least; I think it was a person."
Chase carefully moved to check on the boar's body, getting a nice look at the arrow and even reaching for it to pull it out. Unexpectedly, another arrow was fired, nearly hitting him and entering the neck of the dead boar.
"Hey, whoever you are, better give me a damn reason….!"
Turning behind to where the arrow was shot from, his sentence was cut off when facing close to an arrow placed in a bow and ready to be fired at him.
The person holding this bow looked to be a young female who wasn't looking at Chase with a friendly expression on her face. What she was wearing was someone who looked to be a person who came ready to do some hunting.
"What is a male doing out here alone?" was what this girl said to him.
"Well, I wish to give you an answer if I knew it myself. Look if you can maybe put that bow down, so we can talk normally."
"Yeah, that is not happening male, I want you right where you are."
"Why do you call me male, I mean my gender, but what is the reason to say it that way?"
Chase asked looking to see if the two of them could at least talk it out like civilized people.
"I am not going to explain myself to a male."
"Listen here, I am getting annoyed by that, so I am going to tell you my name is Chase."
"I don't care about your name, I call you, however, I want to call you."
"Oh no, you're not going to…."
Things started to get heated at the moment between these two, but another voice interrupted.
"Hey, did you catch anything from your end, I haven't, and it seems my luck is becoming worst."
Another young female appeared in the same outfit as the one in front of him.
"Whoa, no way Allyson you catch a male that cool."
"Well, more like I just found this male, Heather. I was hunting that boar and killed it, and he happens to be there."
"Oh, nice we are going to eat some good meat and the best thing is we got a male too! Does he belong anywhere?"
"What clothes is this male wearing? I can't tell where he is from."
The second female moved to get a close look at him, checking out what he was wearing.
"Yeah, me neither. Guess we better take this guy with us back to the outpost."
"Hold on, I am not going anywhere with you two until I get an explanation here of what is going on!"
"How cute of you to think you have the right to demand that~?"
This Heather girl took Chase off guard when striking him in the stomach hard, but he stood unyielding and was about to pay her back for it. She was too quick for him though, doing an upward kick at his face which did the trick as Chase fell forward face first unto the ground.
"Hey, you better haven't killed him, Heather."
"Relax, Allyson, this male is not dead, just knocked out easily since it felt like he was going to be quite the trouble to take back to the outpost."
"Well, I don't want this one to die. It would be a waste to have no fun with him since being out here without any."
"No kidding, but that depends on what is going to happen to this male when we are back with him."
The two girls gazed at the pass-out Chase as one of them began to work on tying Chase's hands and the other doing the same with the dead boar.
"Alright, now we are all set out to get out of here."
