Vera didn't try to sound bad about backstabbing Heather like this. It doesn't come to be much of a big shock as at the time another person shows up beside her.
"Don't be too upset. What I was offering to her finally became common sense to listen to," Maryellen says right as she enters the conversation.
Heather looks at that one, seeing that she is free and moving along, looking a little better compared to how the last time Maryellen looked.
"So you're all cheerful to get what you wanted." She pauses speaking to do a little spitting at the Uvuton captain's feet."Well, such small winnings don't always last the longest."
"Maybe I should break that mouth of yours for disrespecting me like that." Maryellen was close to kicking her in the face.
"Now, now don't let it get to you. Just keep that happy feeling close as you get to take her back to that town and do whatever you want to her. Of course, there is a discussion about the reward." Vera made sure to remind the woman about that.
