"I understand," Maitreya lowered his head.
"And the last one…" Abhimanyu took a deep breath.
So deep that Maitreya, Lathifa, Red Flag, and Blue Flag could find something unusual in the king's face and gestures. Something heavy and full of worry, that's what they found in Abhimanyu.
"…A day ago," Abhimanyu sighed deeply, "Dante came to visit this palace."
"Dante?" Maitreya stared, gulped, and even looked nervous about what the king said. "My lord?"
"Who's Dante?" asked the Red Flag with a frown.
Neither Red Flag nor Blue Flag, nor Lathifa herself, none of them knew who Dante was apart from Abhimanyu and Maitreya.
"He," said Maitreya, "our superior when we were commanders of troops for the Artapurana."
"I've never heard of someone named Dante," said Lathifa, trying to recall everyone she had known at the Artapurana Palace.
