Two palace maids stepped out of the cellar, both of whom ran into Pramudya Antaguna.
Pramudya frowned when he saw that there was something strange about the two palace maids. "Why are you in such a hurry?"
"Your Majesty," the two bowed.
"The girl still refuses to eat," said one of the two. "Your Majesty."
Pramudya took a deep breath. His gaze was fixed on the tray that the palace maids were carrying.
That's right, the food and drink were still intact, he thought.
"Give it to me," he said.
The palace maids glanced at each other, but they dared not refuse and handed the trays into the hands of the king.
"Go," said Pramudya. "And keep your mouth shut!"
The two palace maids nodded with faces showing fear. After that, the two of them walked away from Pramudya.
