{Rune}
A little later than 7 pm I arrived at the the said gym hall which I hadn't entered before. Actually, I didn't like being there as one of the first people and Vera had also insisted on styling my hair because I had difficulties doing it on my own. She styled it back into a messy braid but leaving a few strands of hair at the front so they softly fell at the side of my face. For make up I did some dark red eyeliner and fitting golden and red eyeshadow. Not too much though. Additionally, I put some sparkles under my eyes and painted my lips in a light natural red. It was quiet pretty I had to admit.
For clothing I went with wide black ripped jeans with chaines attached to it and a black cropped sleeveless shirt that revealed my arms.
When entering the hall the smell of alcohol immediately tingled my nose and I saw people dancing and conversating all over the place. The music was loud and all the colors were so bright that I had to get used to it for a few seconds to fight the urge of leaving again.
I noticed some people staring at me when I made my way through the crowd and secretly felt proud but also a little shy. At some point I finally spotted someone I recognized as Jane and quickly caught up to her. She was wearing a short black dress with a neck piece and an orange bag that gave a fitting contrast to her blue hair.
"Hey, Rune! Dammmn someone be looking fine here." She called me signing to get closer when she stopped talking to another girl next to her.
Usually, Jane was just a little taller than me but with her heels I felt like a child.
"Thanks, you look very beautiful yourself." I smiled at her not knowing if it might be too open to say that but she seemed to take it well.
"Kate is somewhere over there and Ed is talking to the barkeeper and uhm... I think Raven is filling up youngsters somewhere." She let her eyes trail over the crowd but shrugged after a moment when she couldn't spot him.
Why wasn't I surprised that Raven would do something like this...? Seriously, why was I even here?
"By the way, can I get you something to drink or eat? They have snacks at the bar." She offered but I kindly declined and said I'd go see for myself because actually I was very hungry at the moment.
When I decided to get myself some Pizza and sat down at the bar I was suddenly approached form the side when Vince sat down beside me.
He had an empty glass in his hand and asked the bar keeper for more.
"Hi, Vincent" I turned around to him and it seemed he just now realized that I was there.
"Oh hello Rune, almost didn't recognize you because of that make up. And call me Vince, it's awkward to be called Vincent." His voice sounded a little unclear and I had a feeling he already drank a little too much.
"Do you not like it?" I referred to my make up tilting my head slightly and taking a bite of my pizza. Vince blankly stared at me for a few seconds before replying.
"It's... pretty." He averted his eyes and his voice quieted down so I almost didn't get the last part. Was Vince being shy? I started giggling a little.
"Do you plan on getting drunk tonight?"
"Me?" He pointed at himself and I nodded.
"Damn sure I will. This is all Raven's fault. Before I met him I had standards and now I just want to drown myself in alcohol at this party every year, haha."
He sure was talkative compared to yesterday in the library and I liked seeing this side of him.
I spent a little more time talking to Vince and also joined Kate and her new friends for a while. Small talk wasn't something I necessarily enjoyed but it was alright because the atmosphere in there was energetic.
At some point I went for the restroom but when I was about to walk back a random buff and totally drunken dude almost ran me over when he bumped into me.
"Oh, girlie you should watch where you are going." He snickered and emptied a bottle of his beer.
I simply ignored him and went for the opposite direction when he grabbed my arm and I stopped with a sigh. Here we go...
"I'm not a girl. Is there anything you want?" I asked him with a blank expression trying to not sound offensive and piss him off.
The guy wobbled from one side to the other and barely held himself on his feet.
"You're a guy? Fucking fag, look at that body of yours, I'd love to touch it." He lulled and I mentally punshed myself a few times to not freak out. I'd vomit any second from this disgusting son of a bitch.
"I'd prefer if you didn't. Please let go of me now." I demanded but his grip stayed strong and I already suspected him also having super strength like most people here did. Me and Ed were the only ones in our year that did belong to other groups after all.
"Come on, I know you want it." He seemed like he was in a daze when he pulled me closer and suddenly placed his hand on my butt. I flinched and felt awful all of a sudden. This person was totally drunk so why was no one looking out for him?! This was enough. I pushed my fingers into the guys eyes and used the bought time to trip him and press his head on the floor.
"Don't go around touching people without their permission, fucking asshole." I was seriously pissed off at the moment and couldn't stop myself from cursing.
"Ahhh, my eyEs!" He whined and winced in pain when I grabbed his hair and pushed his head down with more force.
"I'm sorry but you'll need to promise me to never do that to anyone again, okay?" I nicely whispered to him to enhance to impact I had on the already scared dude.
"Yes, yes, let me go! It hUrts!"
"Rune Smith, I see you're assaulting this fella near the restroom!" My head shot up when the totally shook voice of none other than Raven made me stop for a second.
Immediately, I let go and the guy got up and ran inside the party hall crying. I got up from the floor and dusted off my jeans.
"I think you are mistaken. This idiot unfortunalty thought he can run around harassing people and the instructors in here can't keep their party under controll." I pressed these words out giving Raven a death glare. Something like this happening to me was upsetting enough but him laughing about it was just not okay.
"Oh, so you are giving me the fault?" He questioned pretending to be offended but I didn't want to deal with him and passed by him back into the hall where I left my alcohol free drink at the bar table.
And of course Raven followed me.
"Why so grumpy? Usually this is my role." He yelled after me and quickly caught up.
"Ever been sexually harassed before? I bet you weren't." I commented in annoyance and emptied the glass of grape juice. It tasted a little bitter at the end but I didn't think much of it being too distracted at the moment.
Raven sat down beside me, a little too close for my comfort zone.
"Wait... he actually did something to you?" The tone of his voice changed but I hated being pitied more than anything else so I wanted to drop the topic as soon as possible.
"Not really, and stop breathing into my face. You reek of alcohol." I remarked but instead of doing so Raven breathed right into my face again, making me cough.
"A party isn't enjoyable without alcohol."
"Maybe you're just too close minded to have fun without it." I answered and looked at him watching me with unusual interest.
"Pfft, only a person that doesn't drink would say that, blondie" He tried justifying his drinking and crossed his arms like a child.
"Yeah whatever." I sighed and let my eyes trail over the dance floor in a short moment of silence from Raven.
"But seriously, you can't tell me that you dressed up and did your make up that way and don't want to get yourself some girl here.. or boy, I mean I don't know..." Raven then wondered sounding seriously confused but I somehow took that as an offense. Did I look like a hooker to him? Did he think I was just dressing up to please others while he himself came in a silk shirt with perfectly styled hair?
"Dress up what way?" I wanted to know and narrowed my eyes at him. When I did so I suddenly felt a strong pain in my head but I didn't let him notice. Raven didn't answer but only opened his mouth to close it again. If he was trying to offend me, why not saying it if he was usually the type to state his opinion quiet detailed?
I saw everything blurry for a second and blinked a few times. What was that? Migraine?
"Not gonna answer?" I pushed him to talk and barely noticed how he scanned me up and down, his eyes lingering on my lips for only a few seconds.
"You... look like a slut, that's why."
Damn, that hurt a little too much hearing it so directly. I had enough self confidence to know that I didn't look like one but his words still pained me and I hated it. If it wasn't for that sick feeling spreading in my body I would have said something back but instead I pushed myself up and hurried out of the hall without saying anything more.
I needed silence and I needed to get away from people before this would get worse. Collapsing in front of everyone was something that I did never want to happen.
Did someone drug me? I vaguely remembered how I left my drink alone for a while and cussed under my breath. I had been too distracted by Raven to pay attention to it.
"Fuck!" I groaned when the pain in my head became unbearable. At the moment I was somewhere behind the building. It was totally dark and I could only make out some bushes and a bench that was almost not visible behind a tree.
I could not hold myself up any longer as everything went black and I fell.
...
{Raven}
At first I didn't care that Rune went off and I continued partying but at some point that annoying feeling of guilt poked my heart from the inside. Was he offended because I called him a slut? I didn't think he was that sensitive after everything I've said to him before. I meant it as a joke obviously...
"God damn." Suddenly the party didn't feel enjoyable anymore and I had a need of fresh air because I started feeling like throwing up. Did I drink too much? Definitely.
On wobbly feet I went behind the building to my favorite bench that was a little hidden from view but what I saw there when I arrived made my heart skip a beat for a second.
Even in my drunk state I knew that something definitely was wrong here. Rune was lying next to the bench unconscious and sweat pearls were running down his face. Immediately, I pulled him up on the bench and shook him a bit while panicking. Rune hadn't been drunk at all so why was he here passed out like this?!
I touched his forehead that was cold like ice besides sweating in this freezing weather. There wasn't much light but I could make out some scratches on the side of his jaw. Did he fall? Such an idiot.
I knew I wasn't at my full strength mentally at the moment but I had to do something... anything. Vince!
In the blink of an eye I picked my phone up and called my friend. When he picked up he said that he already left to go to sleep but yet he was able to help me with what to do. From my description he assumed that someone put some kind of drug into Rune's drink but as long as his pulse, breathing and body temperature was normal it'd be best to let him rest here in the building somewhere.
Still slightly panicking I ended the call and picked Rune up on my bag. He didn't make any sound nor did he move... it was scary. His head was leaning on my shoulder and neck so his hair was tingling my skin.
Trying to avoid other people seeing us I was left with no other choice but to bring him to my apartment room. I myself was at the edge of almost falling asleep so the way up felt like an eternity. Rune's head moved to the side when I took a big step around a corner and I suddenly felt his lips touching the skin on my neck.
I inhaled sharply when his breath send shivers down down my spine.
I was definitely too drunk...
Quickly entering the appartment I threw him on my bed and pulled the comforter up to his head after taking of his shoes.
Probably I should have done more than that but in my current state I couldn't think clearly.
With the last strength left in my body I let myself fall down on the sofa across the room and soon fell asleep myself.

Something itched in my eye and my body felt sore when I slowly woke up. Before opening my eyes I noticed the different yet somehow familiar smell that surrounded me.
I opened my eyes staring at a ceiling that I never saw before. Suddenly brightly awake, I sat up and immediately felt a stinging pain in the back of my head.
I hissed in pain and stared down at myself... I was still fully clothed but in a stranger's bed?! What happened last night? I talked to Raven... I went outside and then?
Then it suddenly dawned on me when I spotted Raven snorring silently on a sofa across the room. So this was his room? But what was I doing here?!
I got up from the bed and noticed how part of my make up got on the pillow. The bed was quiete big so Raven could have easily slept next to me so I wondered why he chose the uncomfortable sofa. If it was to respect my personal space I'd really be proud of him.
With a little grin I looked around the room to find the bathroom and clean my face.
Luckily, I found it rather quickly and didn't think much about using it. With cold tap water I managed to wash most of the make up away but my hair was still messy. How did I even end up here?
Carefully, I went back to the bedroom and watched Raven still sleeping. I approached him silently and poked his shoulder making him grunt silently before falling back asleep again. I was thinking about just leaving and not having to deal with what was to come but as it seemed like, Raven actually saved me in a way. I now remembered feeling sick and dizzy so it was likable that someone spiked my drink.
"My head hurts." The older suddenly groaned and turned to the side making him fall off the sofa with a loud noise. In the process he pulled my leg down with him so his head rested on my thigh. Right, Raven must by hung over from last night. What an idiot.
"Then don't drink so much, idiot." I spoke out my thoughts loudly causing Raven's head to shot up at me with sleepy eyes.
"Blondie?" he mumbled and slowly let go of my let to push himself up from the floor veeery slowly while rubbing his eyes and looking at me again.
I expected him to say something but instead he only eyed me up and down before he pushed me to the side and headed to what I thought was the kitchen.
"I need water." He mumbled and I ran after him.
"Why am I here?" I asked with my raised voice and Raven scratched his head and shut his eyes for a second.
"Listen, I found you passed out outside the building and I was very drunk myself so I just took you to my apartment. Now don't think I did anything weird to you and be thankful that I even let you sleep here." He demanded before emptying his second glass of water and I couldn't stop myself from feeling a little awkward at what he said.
"I never said something like that. I- thanks for letting me stay. I'll go now." I rashly excused myself feeling how tense the situation got when Raven blocked the door and glared down at me.
"If you are seen leaving my apartment looking like you just had the wildest night of your life I have a problem so you will first need to fix your hair and change clothes, understood? I have a highly cherished reputation here " He sounded so determined and demanding that I knew saying something against it would be useless. But I hated being pushed around like that...
"Right, I look like a slut after all." I sighed and stepped back but he did not let me.
"Listen, I was joking, okay? Don't be so bitchy about it." he answered and I noticed how his bad temper was showing again. I really wanted to say something back again but I knew better than that.
"No need to get angry." I sighed and still tried to get out of the kitchen.
"And you reek of alcohol and sweat so you should change clothes or take a shower yourself or people might faint." I couldn't stop letting myself say something like this again even though I knew Raven would probably freak out or do something stupid again. It was always the same... he said something and I fired back and then he'd start throwing punshes or something. But he never got me until...
"How about we shower together then?" he said this without hinting any sarcasm or amusement as if he was totally serious. With crossed arms he leaned against the doorframe of the kitchen and it felt as if his eyes were piercing holes into mine.
I gulped nervously being prepared for anything but for that. Blood rushed to my face but I didn't know why... I wasn't used to people flirting like that.
"Haha, nice joke." I noticed my voice sounding a little shaky and I couldn't do anything but look to the side and avoid his gaze.
Then Raven stepped closer and I took a step back out of instinct. It felt so clichee but at the moment I could not say what was going on in Raven's mind. He didn't mean that seriously, did he? That guy was crazy after all.
The door was now free and I attempted to run around him and to the bathroom but before I could even do so Raven had grabbed both my hands and shoved me into the wall while leaning so close it made me more uncomfortable than ever.
"Really? Pushing me against a wall? Is this supposed to be some cheap drama?" I struggled not losing my breath when he moved his head closer and closer. I tilted my head to the side but he grabbed my jaw and forced me to face him.
What the hell? How did he dare to do that?! I shut my eyes tightly and pressed my lips together waiting for whatever was to come.
Raven's placed his free hand on my thigh giving it a slight squeeze causing me to inhale and hold my breath.
He stopped in his movements and for a few seconds there was silence.
"I won, Rune." he chuckled in amusement and immediately let go and left into the bathroom.
I myself kept leaning on the wall catching my breath. Pathetic... this was absolutely pathetic... why didn't I do anything just now? I could have yelled at him, I could have used my legs to fight him off but I just stood there like a pathetic idiot barely managing to stand. So this was Raven's way to get payback? Next time it wouldn't be that easy!
However, things didn't get better when I heard him loudly laughing from the bathroom.
"You were so red, I thought you'd faint any second HAHA"
This bitch...
