Chapter 6 - I See It Clearly

"Miss Elvira and Miss Eliza!! Huff, thank goodness you're all right. I was shocked when I saw a group of police officers suddenly come to this mansion." A man dressed as a butler immediately entered the mansion and shouted for his young miss with a worried expression.

"As you'd expect, there's no party in this mansion. Olive and the rest of the servant mansion are gone." Elvira immediately explained what happened in the mansion.

"Yeah, I didn't go home and wait for you in the courtyard. From the moment I entered here, I felt something was wrong with this mansion. I suggest that we should go home right now. If the madam finds out about this, I'm sure she will be angry and forbid you to travel." Julian lowered his head slightly and made a suggestion.

Remembering her mother, who did not agree to attend Olive's birthday party from the start, made her whole body shudder with horror.

"I agree that we should go home, but first, I want to know what the detectives have found." Even though she agreed with Julian's suggestion, she decided not to go straight home.

Elvira is reluctant to go home before knowing the safety of her best friend. Even though Olive had the same fate as the sorcerer she had found, at least she wanted to see her friend one last time.

After his young miss agreed, Julian took Elvira and Eliza out of the mansion to find a safe place.

They waited for about 30 minutes until several ambulances arrived to pick up the bodies found by the police.

Although the chances of survival were slim, she hoped that Olive wasn't dead. She was also waiting for the crime scene results from the Chief Sorcerer and hoped for any clues regarding Olive.

But her wait did not end as she wished because the whole corpse had decomposed and had to be put in a unique bag. This makes her and Eliza unable to identify who was killed.

While the police were busy evacuating the bodies, 2 people in army uniforms and the other, a white-haired adult man dressed in a high-level Bishop's outfit approached Elvira.

"Mr. Marcus, she is the girl who found the bodies. Just like my family, she is also from the Royal Family." Despite having carried out an examination of the corpse, the blonde haired man didn't look as sad as before. He looked calmer when he introduced Elvira.

"Hi, I'm Elvira Etherna." Elvira gracefully bowed as she introduced herself to the Chief Sorcerer.

"Ah, so you are Miss Etherna. A little girl with black hair and beautiful brown eyes is the 13th great-granddaughter of King Gerrad." The man in a high-level bishop dress casually explained how much he knew about Elvira even though it was the first time they had met.

"I'm amazed you can recognize me even though I rarely appear in public." Elvira was a little surprised that Mr. Marcus could describe her well.

"It's not difficult to memorize the names and characteristics of all the Royal Princesses since your sisters don't have many left." Mr. Marcus looks sad when he tells how he can recognize all the Princesses of the Kingdom.

"Do you guys really not care about Olive!? Why do you guys look relaxed like nothing happened?!" Eliza immediately cut off Mr. Marcus' conversation with Elvira. She looked sobbing and angry when she saw those who didn't talk about Olive.

"Calm down, miss. There's no way I'm not worried about my sister. But you can relax a bit because from all the bodies found, there is no evidence that Olive was killed either." Calvin immediately explained his findings and tried to calm Eliza.

"Although the probability is low, I think that Miss Olive was kidnapped and not killed by the Evil Spirit right away." Mr. Marcus added the findings from his point of view.

Hearing the explanation about Olive made Eliza cry, and she immediately ran to hug Elvira from behind. "Huuuaa... Olive, wait for us. We will definitely pick you up!"

"Ugh, how come you come to such a conclusion?" Elvira did not expect Mr. Marcus to think like that, even though there had never been a case like he thought before.

"Although before, all the royal princesses were always found dead on the spot, all cases were different with Miss Olive. They died when they were more than 16 years old or a year after receiving the blessing... I don't think Miss Olive was immediately killed because her blessing was still weak." Mr. Marcus, who has been in the Sorcerer field for 30 years, feels confident in his suspicions.

"What do you mean Evil Spirits are smarter now than decades ago?" Calvin was slightly aware that the Evil Spirit's strategy of seeking power was steadily increasing.

"No, I actually thought that the Evil Spirits weren't getting any smarter, but I feel like someone was controlling them because their activities really increased after the 4 Princesses of the Kingdom were killed." The Evil Spirit's attack that began to be structured and tidy made him believe that there was a mastermind behind the invasion of the Royal Princess.

Hearing the increasing threat of the Evil Spirits made Eliza even more worried about the safety of her last friend. "Then, it means that soon you will be the next target. Do I need to stay at your house to protect you?"

"Good idea! Evil Spirits won't know who the recipients of the blessings are. I won't let those Evil Spirits achieve their goal!" Hearing Eliza's advice made Mr Marcus think of a pretty good plan to stop the attack on the Royal Princess.

"6 weeks from now, you should be able to come up with a plan to finish off the Evil Spirits well." Eliza stopped crying when she found out that Mr. Marcus would come to protect Elvira.

When Eliza, Calvin, and Mr. Marcus are busy making plans. Elvira gaze suddenly shifted when she saw a teenage boy with shoulder-length silver hair and golden eyes in a strange sleeveless uniform.

The tattooed man was seen wandering around, watching the bodies of the servants and sorcerers being evacuated one by one. From his movements, he looked normal and not suspicious. Still, she kept staring at him because none of the policemen noticed the tattooed man's presence.

'Is he human?'
