" Why are you so unwilling or should I say against of getting help from Dr Clara? From what I have seen, you look comfortable with her and she seems like a good doctor who knows what she is doing, so why? What are you afraid of? ", he asked, taking me by surprise at the question.
Of course he had caught on that I was not willing to start treatment with Clara because I was afraid and not because I do not want it. Still I wanted to know what he has understood till now so I decided to claim ignorance and act like I have no idea what he is saying.
" Why do you think that I am afraid of something? ", I asked him, pretending not to understand what he was saying.
"Are you not? ", he asked with raised eyebrows.
" No, I do not think I am. ", I said, telling half truth and half lie.
It was true that I was scared but I do not think that I was ready to admit that to anyone, even myself so it was not hard to lie to him or anyone else.
