Before entering the auditorium, Raimon said goodbye to his escort and Reineza who had to take care of the review of all the important documentation of the city to give a detailed summary to Raimon.
And on his way, Raimon thought about the history of this landmark building of Anthos City.
The Anthos Wiener, a building housing several concert halls and other practice institutions, was opened to the public on the very day Raimon was born exactly 150 years ago.
The main auditorium is famous for its acoustics, which places it among the top three halls on the Thunder Continent in terms of sonority, along with the Imperial Hall in the capital, and the Concertgebouw of the Empire of the Divine Tree.
The hall hosts school meetings of the Anthos Academy and concerts of the main symphony orchestras of the continent, highlighting the concerts of New Year's Eve and festivals. The main and most famous concert is the one given to all the heirs on their coming of age.
Being such a large auditorium, every year when there is military training and recruitment at the Anthos School of Fencing and Wrestling it is the main meeting place.
As Raimon made his way to the main seats with the young naïve William he was thinking about these students and which one of them will follow him to practice and help him in the coming years. Raimon took some time to watch their reactions.
Being able to stand the pressure of a 9 Star Warrior was a very commendable thing.
Those who were weak enough to cry would never set foot in the Anthos School of Fencing and Fighting.
Of course, even the instructor Yoggi on the podium knew that.
He smiled and snapped his fingers.
Arrived at the main seat in the auditorium along with Rogelio. Raimon noticed that the young man following close behind was sitting in the second row from the front with all the incoming candidates.
Yoggi, the main director gave a brief explanation of the rules and regulations of the school for a few minutes very quickly and after two hours he finished giving the last instructions.
"There is no cumbersome ceremony like an entrance ceremony."
"We will start with the accommodation and then notify you of the little things you need to know. understood?"
"Understood!"
"From now on, respond with a simple 'Yes!' Understood?"
"Yes!"
"Excellent. Act according to the instructions given."
After speaking, Instructor Yoggi left the auditorium. And the assistant's dry voice was heard.
"Listen up, prospective trainees. There will be a number assigned to each of you. From 1 to 1000, move this way."
"From 1 to 100, come here!"
"From 101 to 200, come this way!"
"Those between 201 and 300 over there!"
"...."
"You! Move fast!"
The children had difficulty coordinating because of the authoritarian atmosphere. The same was true for William.
Growing up as a fallen nobleman at home, he was even more unnerved by the assistant's harsh tone.
However, he made no mistakes.
William followed the assistant's instructions without any mistakes, ate, visited many places, and left the auditorium. All the while he did not know that both Yoggi and Raimon were watching him.
After finishing the tour he was able to lie down on his bed in his assigned solitary room.
However, it was uncomfortable.
Scary. He regretted a little that he had come here.
But he soon shook his head and covered himself with the comforter.
While holding the letter given to him by his older sister, he fell asleep.
On Raimon's side when the auditorium meeting was over he visited Yoggi and Rogelio in the main hall of the academy to talk about the new future promises.
****
On the second day of classes.
A little over 400 trainees per class had gathered in the large practice hall at 10 am.
It was not a tight schedule for the trainees.
They were allowed to sleep in, eat breakfast, and have some time to themselves.
But William had a bad expression.
Even though his hair was neatly combed, he didn't feel any better.
He looked at the silver-haired, white-haired girls standing calmly in the distance with an uncomfortable expression.
"Rose Roled and Sthephy Fool...what the hell is wrong with them..."
Yesterday while eating, William learned that they were both from one of the two best noble families in the Kingdom of Austria.
They were the best in the Kingdom of Austria. Both from the best families of swordsmen and warriors on the continent. They were not inferior to the Count rank families of the Solar Empire.
Edward Roled and Merry Fool are among the top ten 9-star warriors in the world, and the eldest son, Alberth Roled, is known to be one of the top three geniuses of Thunder Continent in the past decade.
Rose Roled, who was here, was rumored to have greater potential than her older brother.
In other words, she didn't have to come to the Empire, let alone the Flower Duchy.
"Damn it, I don't know what the Dukes are thinking by inviting so many people with origins in foreign Kingdoms."
William gritted his teeth as he thought about how difficult his stay here would be.
He started from the bottom.
It wasn't just that.
He hadn't been practicing fighting since he was six years old. In the process, not one person taught him and he was recognized for his skills.
This meant he had been a blank much longer than others.
That was why he was confident.
As long as something horrible didn't happen, he could achieve a brilliant result that would raise his family's fame and reputation.
However...
"Damn!"
William cursed as he kicked a stone on the ground.
It was not aimed at anyone. However, the stone flew and landed at the feet of another boy.
A black-haired boy who was about an inch taller than William.
The boy looked him in the face and spoke loud enough for the others to hear.
"Tch, that one what's up with this commoner in this place."
"Your name was William?"
He didn't remember who William was.
And the reason he didn't like William was that at a glance you could tell the fallen noble origin. Plus he didn't like that a dumb guy was allowed into Anthos.
It seemed out of place.
