Chapter 28 - Nightmare.

"Who dared to try to kill you! Who was it?"

"That I cannot say."

Despite her dry reply, the heart, and chest felt warm and glad to see her rage for his sake.

"But more than not wanting to say, I am unable to answer that question, as there are many things I do not know."

"Shhh!"

"There was no need to continue this conversation since even I didn't know what was going on."

Leona could only accept the fact that he was already too involved in the envy of many people in the Empire to break free now.

As Leona tried to sort out her mixed feelings, Raimon carefully approached her and observed her.

"But I am very happy to have learned that not everyone is indifferent."

"Raimon This saddens me deeply."

Who would have thought that the famous Flower warrior was sweet and tender.

Raimon no longer thought of her as aloof but considered her a mere human being suffering in this messy Empire.

"Please don't be sad."

After their conversation in the castle hall, Leona lingered for a while longer before leaving. Raimon's bleak and desolate birthday was brightened a bit by the visit.

"I didn't know my existence is good for certain people."

Raimon thought as he touched the light sword and some books set on the couch.

It was the birthday present he had been given.

"He told me that this sword has a locator function in case I ever get lost at some point or might get lost, the books talk about stories of the Empire."

"There is a book that talks about the mechanical carriages that came out no more than 10 years ago."

"I wonder if I could build something with these books that were only there in my old world."

"Oh, baby, that sword you're carrying, what is it?"

"It has magic in it that I haven't seen for a thousand years."

"I don't know either, I'll look in the family library to learn more about it."

"You got yourself a priceless birthday present."

"I hope so."

Eclipse was unaware of the sword's effects.

"I can see it's an amazing artifact."

"This world is getting more and more interesting."

"By the way, did you sense the person who came?"

The puzzled Raimon asked.

"Yes, very strongly. I see this family is still as ridiculously powerful as ever."

"At my best, I had never bothered with someone like that. I was thinking of taking you and running away if things got dangerous."

"Ah."

"Well, seeing as how he gave you a gift, I don't think he's a bad person."

"Do you think my gift is something extraordinary?"

"I'll bet a hundred apple pies on that. If I was bad I never would have given you anything in the first place."

"I wonder if this visit will reach my father's ears."

As Eclipse began to ramble, Raimon reflected on the mechanics he always wanted to create something in his former life. However, he soon remembered Leona's last words before leaving, and soon calmed down.

"I just want you to remember this, Raimon. Concentrate on being very strong as quickly as possible."

Nightmare.

Customs, traditions, lineage, social status. Matters beyond human control, that's what humans call fetters.

For anyone nightmares are something they never want to have.

The truth is that since Raimon came into the world he has always had these nightmares related to the shackles.

At first, it was like I was living in a place full of darkness and I couldn't go out to look for some light.

After living in the Blood Castle it got a little better with Reineza singing to me and waiting for Raimon to sleep.

Lately, though this started to get worse.

Eclipse said that all the information Belenus gave during the tests may have saturated Raimon thinking.

This may be the reason, but Raimon hopes to stop dreaming about the old world.

Raimon wants to live a new life away from all kinds of shackles that will not let him be free and in this world, only strength can give him what Raimon wants.

When Eclipse applied sleep magic on Raimon, these nightmares diminished, but Raimon can still hear the screams and explosions before died.

In a dark space, Raimon could hear someone's voice in his dreams.

"It's okay."

"It's going to be okay."

"It's painful, isn't it? But even that will go away."

"If you're afraid, just take my hand."

"You don't have to force yourself to keep your eyes open. It's okay to keep them closed."

"If you look at the sky, it will become more painful."

"From now on, you're going to take a little long nap."

"And after a long, long time passes, you will wake up to a wonderful world."

"Children and adults, even knights and warriors, everyone will be happy. Of course, you will be too. So, you don't have to worry now, then. Until you wake up again, good night."

It was something he always heard whenever he felt restless and Raimon couldn't sleep.

Like the rustling of the trees, with the scent of nature.

The continent was in the spring season.

During some of Raimon's dreams, it was like going back to the spiritual state before Raimon came into this world, and Raimon could see parts of the world never imagined.

Today.

The cherry blossom season arrived, in the world of Blood, where warriors of all people and different races rejoice in life.

Blown by the east winds, the leaves dance in the blue sky, and blown by the west winds, they settle on the green earth. After Raimon observed what the voice had to show today, he noticed that the sunlight was a little dimmer than usual and by focusing a little more on the view small red dots were visible.

At the moment Raimon wanted to get closer to see better. A huge giant eye appeared bringing darkness and gloom into the world.

Raimon who woke up quickly from his sleep drenched in sweat wondered what it was.
