After dinner, Eugenie and Zander returned to complete some work when they received a letter from the borders. Eugenie furrowed hearing how Zand was playing with them without attacking.
"What are they trying to do?" Eugenie said in annoyance, pinching between her brows.
The battle had started if Zand had continued to attack them. But Anka never began the attack for small or no reason. Since Zand was camping at the borders, she couldn't command to start the battle.
Zander went through the report and wrote the response for it while calming Eugenie, "Let's observe the situation for now. Arihan will handle it if Zand tries to play smart."
Rather than mindlessly attacking Arihan would think of the bigger picture and take responsibility for the soldiers. So Zander only worried about the soldiers having all the necessary supplies.
