Although Alora finds Arihan cold and unbearing, she knew his intention was never wrong. She was able to take on things maturely when somebody misunderstood him. She even opened the eyes of Arihan's subordinate who had mistaken Arihan. However, it was still hard to take on when it came to her.
And what was she expecting from Arihan?
Listening to her obediently when she appeared in his room unannounced? That would be alarming if he had obliged her.
But something else was lingering in her mind. Arihan had changed. Initially, he was doing the duty because of Orla. He was monstrous with her training routine. However, when they argued in front of Orla and Lothar, she could discern that Arihan genuinely wanted to train her, although he wasn't good with his words.
Why? What made him change his view?
It couldn't be because of guilt as Arihan wasn't guilty of throwing her out of his chambers. His apology was only a formality and under pressure from Livia.
