"A witch is in the palace."
Eugenie clutched Zander's hand. The danger was right in the palace and they had no idea about it.
James continued before they come to any conclusion, "This witch must have been here for years, waiting for Princess Alora or came here after Princess Alora returned to the palace."
James paused seeing Eugenie agitated. It was unnerving to hear the danger was lurking around their daughter and they didn't even know. So he could understand if it left Eugenie with extreme worry.
Zander cued James to continue and gently patted Eugenie's back. Eugenie pushed her agitated state back of her mind to listen to James.
James saw Eugenie recover quickly, so he continued, "This witch might not want to hurt Princess Alora. Rather, there are chances it's coveting Princess Alora's magical powers."
