Alarmed by the shriek, Lothar and Cuillin rushed towards Alora's chambers. Looking at Arihan running the same way, they knew Alora was in trouble.
Arihan was about to break open the locked door, it opened and a man fell on his face. Looking at the blood-stained clothes, they turned to the door wondering who saved Alora.
Training outfit was stained with a slash of blood and the sword dripping the red liquid on the floor, they stood staring at Alora whose eyes looked fierce but her face looked bone-chillingly cold.
Woke her powers?
Lothar opened his mouth to call her name and closed it. Alora didn't seem to awaken her powers. Waking her powers doesn't mean she would behave like a different person. And Alora seemed to be under the control of something, something that was protecting her.
Arihan too had the same thoughts. Alora, he had seen over the past days, couldn't hurt a flower, much less a person, even if that person must have sinned.
