Although Arihan started to believe in Alora and her words, it wasn't enough to ease him. He looked at her. She would either cry or leave if he didn't speak. And he still has to know what happened to her in the morning at River Inya.
He went close to her and lifted her by holding her waist. He made her sit on the horse and gently patted the horse.
Alora sulked due to silence but she knew Arihan was slowly giving in. So she tried to balance herself when the horse followed Arihan in small steps.
When she got hold of herself on the horse, her attention shifted to Arihan and the place. They were at a reasonable distance from the manor and going in a circle. She spotted blood stains on the ground and the plants.
She discerned Arihan was inspecting the place to find any clue. She asked him, "General Darwin, are you suspicious of anybody having a hand in the ambush?"
