"Are you sure that you don't want me to come with you?" Jamal asked as his wings fluttered behind him. The three of them were floating on the clouds above Atlantis' atmosphere. He was a little worried, even though Xaloc had said severally that he would be alright and he knew this was something that he knew that Xaloc and Lux needed to do on their own.
"Don't worry, if I can't bear it anymore I will come to you." Xaloc said, golden light danced around his fingers as he probed the veil surrounding Duat for a small crack that he could manipulate and step through. He had already sent a notification that he would be coming and yet no one had opened the veil.
Jamal sighed and he turned to Lux. He took out a bag and handed it to him. "I don't know what the situation would be when the both of you opened the veil. The food there should last about a month, there is some Duat gold and a change of clothes. Lux, please take care of him for me."
