Xaloc frowned. He felt like he had been put on a spot. Jamal had asked him to be honest and personally, he did not like to lie, it was just he did not want to spoil Jamal's mood either.
"You made it yourself, I did not know that you liked to cook?" Xaloc said, changing the topic as he placed the fork back on the tray.
"I don't like cooking, it is tiring." Jamal replied, he picked up the fork and took a piece of fish, chewing slowly as if verifying its flavour.
That was the fork that he used, Xaloc noticed and he had used it so carefreely. Xaloc swallowed but looked away, they had already had sex severally, and sharing a utensil was nothing if one thought about it. He looked back at Jamal, catching sight of the hint of sadness that flashed within the beautiful lilac orbs and his stomach twisted in pain.
He sighed and asked forlornly, feeling tired all of a sudden, "Why are you doing this? Why did you come?"
