A knock sounded on the door. "Jamal, I am coming in." Yemi's soft voice sounded from outside.
Jamal's heart pounded as the other came in. Towards this person that knew the original owner so much, he felt uneasy. He always had the feeling that he would definitely be seen through one day.
Yemi entered the room. He had removed the blue silk that brought out the ocean blue of his in favour of a large cotton white shirt that reached his knees and little blue shorts.
"Are you alright?" His voice was very soft as he entered the room, he switched on the light and the dim room was flooded with light.
"Yes." Jamal replied. From his memories, this was the one person that held all the original owner's softness. He had been surprised when the body's subconsciousness had reacted so much to Asim and yet nothing to Yemi.
But now, he understood, the moment this person entered the room, his whole body had drained of all its tenseness. Just like a child returning to his mother's embrace. It was weird.
The other pushed him down on the bed and Jamal's eyes widened with his heart pounding furiously. Yemi climbed on top of him and laid his ears on his chest.
Jamal turned red. Yemi was very beautiful, but he was not his type nor was he the type of the original owner. Although he felt like this in his heart, his body has no rejection towards this male.
Yemi heard the powerful breathing of the man under him and he relaxed a bit. He was alive. He whispered to himself. Jamal was alive but why, why did he have this urge to cry?
"Jamal."
"Yes?" The other had climbed further on the bed, his body wrapped in a cuddle.
"Is it Asim? If you are uncomfortable with him, then.." Yemi's eyes lowered as he wrapped even tighter. Then he would dump him. He had always been together with Jamal, even though he loved Asim; the love he had for him could not compare with the one that he had for Jamal.
"It is not Asim," Jamal replied. From his memory, this was only one of the tactics that Yemi used on the original owner. He would ask him questions till the other finally, tiredly caved it.
"Is it Borga? You don't want to go to Shangri-la? If Lord Odin really survived, then Shangri-La would be the last place he would be. Borga is just talking rubbish. Duat or Altantis would be a much better place to search." Yemi's hands had started going through his hair softly caressing it. "Your hair is much softer than mine. That's unfair."
Jamal blinked his eyes, he was feeling sleepy. "I never planned to go to Shangri-la.
"The original body had intended to reject the mission anyway. He wanted to go to Duat but for all the Original's bravery and valour in the Einherjer, he was actually afraid of meeting the Egyptians. The moment he had found out that Beun: Osiris was in Duat, he had changed his mind about accepting to look for Odin's traces in Duat.
"What are you thinking about?" A soft voice interrupted his thoughts.
"Atlantis." He replied instinctively before he froze. He had indeed thought about Atlantis a lot. Shangri-la was a no-go for him, the Villain's godfather would probably be there as well.
Jamal swallowed as he faintly recalled the graphic actions of mental torture that the man had conducted at the beginning of Volume 3.
His body would be very tense in Duat and a lot of Egyptian gods resided in Duat. They hated being far away from their home much more than any patheon. Not to mention that the Villain was probably in Duat already.
Jamal had not visited Valhalla but Valhalla housed a lot of the warriors from different Pantheons so there were always fights at different points in time.
There were the Dahomeys from the Benin mythology, the Amazons from the Celts, the Aztecs, the Macedonians Hetariois, the Einherjars from the Norse mythology, the Myrmidons of Achilles and thousands of other warrior groups banded together in this world that belonged exclusively to Warriors.
It was the place where Jamal had the most amount of acquaintances and friends. It was also the place where the entirety of Volume 2 of the book was held.
For Jamal that wanted to create a peaceful haven in this place, Atlantis was the best place to be. The only time it had appeared in the book was in the Volume 2 to showcase the school arc of the female lead.
The female lead had been applied to some of the top schools in Atlantis but they had rejected her. She was then accepted into a failing high school called the Third high, not only did Selene attract high talents into the school.
During the annual national competition, they had wrecked all other schools including the top school Atlantis Academy. It was mentioned that Asim, the school's principal had closed down the school for two weeks, intending for the students to reflect on themselves.
That had been the only time that Asim was mentioned in the book. If not for the author's three paragraphs that described Asim's appearance, he might not have remembered him.
Yemi sighed. He would rather if Jamal just stayed here with him but unlike him, Jaml took his identity as an Einheri very seriously. He would not be at rest if he didn't go and look for Lord Odin.
Even after these years, he still believed it was his sole purpose.
He considered whether he should tell Jamal about his Ex being in Atlantis but then he decided against it. Jamal needed to relax and Atlantis was the best place for that.
"I will talk to Borga for a change of mission." Yemi smiled.
Jamal was relieved. Forget Yemi's smaller size, this man was one of the deputy leaders of the entire Einherajer in Valhalla.
"You just had your burning day. You must be tired." Maybe it was the warm embrace or the soft scent that emanated from Yemi but Jamal's eyes gradually closed.
