Zeno and Alisha went to university and used to practice for their battle practise after classes.
With each passing day, Zeno became more and more anxious, he tried training but due to anxiety, he couldn't get a thing.
"Man... I'm sol useless..." Zeno fell exhausted to the ground and covered himself in sweat.
*Sniff* Zeno couldn't hold his tears back, no matter how hard he tried no matter how much he practised he couldn't learn a thing.
Many times he decided to kill himself by stabbing both of his eyes, but there were guards around him who prevented him from doing so.
"Let's try again." Zeno closed his eyes and tried to meditate but he couldn't do a thing.
To build another ability you need to concentrate all your spiritual energy in your mind and it will help to create your new ability.
But in the case of Zeno, his second ability didn't awaken even when he concentrated all his spiritual energy on his mind.
"I will be sold... I will be sold... I will be sold... My sister... My mother... Grandpa... And father... I will be sold away from them... No... This world is cruel... "Zeno cried on his condition he cured over and over again, he tried his every best he gave his all but in the end, it was no good, and the only thing he could do was cry.
After crying for endless hours he finally realised something, it with do him anything.
He remembered what the Fairy Beast Kate told him, no matter how much he tried he won't be accepted by the people who disgust him.
He realised crying won't do him anything good, so he gave up on crying, and soon he realised trying won't do him any good either so he gave up on it too.
"Four no three days left." Zeno sat on the rooftop facing the night sky trying to count the endless stars in the beautiful and dark night sky.
Zeno took a deep breath and said, "I love mother, sister, father and grandpa from my heart... It won't matter even if we are separated a thousand light-years away from each other, we will always feel connected." Zeno fell asleep under the shelter of stars.
The next morning he woke up to find guards packing all of his materials and stuff.
He walked downstairs to find Alisha resting on the sofa and watching her favourite anime.
"Hey, sis, where will all my stuff be kept?" Zeno walked to Alisha and asked with a confused look.
"It won't be kept, it's being sold," Alisha replied even without looking back at him.
"Sold? But isn't it going to go with me?" Zeno was even more confused by her information.
"You won't need any of this, you are not shifting a new home idiot, you are being sold. That means you will have to use whatever they give you, you won't need any of this material. And since you were such a curse on our family we can't afford to keep even your clothes with us, either they will be sold or they will be burnt away." Alisha coldly aborted and went back to watch her anime.
Zeno thought he won't care much about what might happen to h or will others care about it on not, but facing the reality than just visualising or imagining is much more difficult
Zeno started trembling on hearing the fact that he won't get to have even a single pic of his family.
"Aww, you trembling? Don't worry they will use you very well." Alisha giggled on seeing Zeno tremble in fear.
Zeno took a deep breath and ran back to his room, locked his door and started letting out all of his emotions.
Soon one more day passed and his birthday was just the next day.
Any child would be super excited when their birthday comes, but Zeno wished for his birthday to never come again, but sadly this was just his imagination it won't come true even if he tried for a million years straight because time can't be stopped.
Most of the time when it would be Zeno's birthday no one would be invited and the decorations would have been very cheap, but this time it was different. Expensive and luxurious decorations were been in the family's main hall, a big board on which "FAREWELL CURSE!!!" Was written in bold letters, and many family friends and relatives were invited.
All the preparations were down and the time for the birthday arrived.
On the day of his eighteenth birthday, he was made to wear a Red Coat, it didn't match his pitch dark eyes and his pale skin, but it was his eighteenth birthday.
"U would like to thank every single gentleman and woman who arrived here on my son's birthday, please enjoy his farewell with your loved ones!" Taurus went I'm stage and announced with a big bright smile on his face.
"Now I would like my dear wife to continue." Taurus went down from the stage and Christene walked up.
"Thank you, everyone, for coming to my so-... Childs's birthday." Christened wore a red dress a bruised with roses and raised with gold she looked like a true fairy.
"Now we would like Zeno to come forward and cut his cake!" Alisha climbed on the stage with a massive cake in her hand.
"Ok..." Zeno walked up and saw down at everyone. And everyone over there saw to go. with eyes of disgust.
*Gulp* he slowly live his hand on the knife and sliced the cake.
"Please Zeno have a bite." Alisha went forward and filled her mouth with cake.
"It's delicious..." Before Zeno could say anything his hands stopped moving and his vision started to blur, he wanted to say something but his voice didn't come out, and the next thing he remembers is waking up in a dark room.
