I got dressed in the traditional flowing gown, although it took a lot of convincing to have me agree to this.
Fern had to promise me the heavens and the Earth before I agreed to wear the gown.
It was embarrassing to wear such a thing in front of my mate, but I'm ready to do that for his sake. After all, he's my mate.
"Are you sure you don't want to witness my bonding ceremony with your brother?" I arch a brow at her.
"Just thinking of it makes me want to vomit." She wrinkled her nose, "who hopes to see you two at it?"
"Isn't that the custom of your pack?" I raised a brow. "Isn't it like compulsory for everyone to be there for the mating ceremony?"
At least that's how it is in my pack. The entire adults of the pack are expected to be there for the bonding ceremony. That's the way things have been for a long time now.
