My headache is like that of a person who slept in a bad posture. It was as if my head were kept at an unnatural angle.
I slowly rose from the warm floor and glanced around the place.
I'm in something that seemed like a golden cage. And it happened to be in the middle of the room.
Aside from that, there was nothing else in the room.
The room was empty, safe for the cage and poor me, in it.
"Where am I?"
Even my throat felt parched. It was as if I had not drunk water for days.
No one answered me, which wasn't surprising at all, as I was the only one here.
I crawled to the door of the cage that was big enough to contain ten people at once and tugged on it.
"Hey!" I shouted, despite the pain I felt in my throat. "Who's out there?" I called out once more. But I got no reply. It was as if I'm the only person left in the entire world.
