Mek groaned, slowly opening his eyes as he glanced around his surroundings to know where he was.
He thought he was in a sort of paradise for the dead. You know, in a place where he can see the goddess and give her a piece of his mind.
Stupid, right?
But that's not what he asked you.
Mek turned around, and when he saw the familiar desk in his room, he frowned a bit.
So much for thinking he was in the realm of the goddess. Subconsciously, he has already prepared what he will tell the goddess.
He planned to give her a piece of his mind. But he was unlucky, or should we say lucky? To see himself in the land of the living, and not of the deity.
He turned around, hoping to see Fern, but he was nowhere to be found. Mek was the only one in the room.
He rose from the bed. His bones were a bit cramped, so he stretched his taut muscles before he walked to the window to look out.
The pack members outside weren't much.
