Fern searched the entire place for his mate. But he was unable to find him. It was as if his mate disappeared into thin air.
"Mek?" He called out to his mate. But he got no reply from him.
"Fern?" Jyn ran to her brother.
"Where did he go to?" Fern shouted in anger as he tugged on his hair.
His eyes have changed to a pure golden, and he was just moments from changing into his wolf.
However, he was keeping his wolf at bay.
"Let's split. I will return to the pack to search for him. Who knows, he might have gone looking for trouble."
"That's unlike Mek. He will never be outside the home, by this time."
"Then, what's it? What happened?" Jyn frowned at her brother.
"I will go over there to look for him. When you find him, connect with me through the bond."
"Okay," Jyn said before she ran back to where she came from. But this time, she didn't take the track road to her house. She ran straight to the pack houses.
