With Fern gone, I contacted Kel through the pack bond.

But that was because I had to swear I'm not dating him, nor do I have any feelings for him.
But I didn't tell him that. Kel doesn't need to know that the Rogue Alpha is jealous of him.
It was fun seeing Fern jealous, and that was the reason I didn't tell him that Kel was already mated. I want to see more of the jealousy portrayed. So, I allowed the ship to sail.
