"Why will I allow you to leave with him? It's not ideal, Jyn. How can you abandon your pack, for a rogue?"
"What are you talking about, Fern?" I frown at my mate, who was pacing the floors, with his hands behind his back as if he's trying to think about something important.
"I won't allow Jyn to leave with him."
"Then, I will leave with my pack."
"What?" Fern stopped his pacing and faced me. The way his eyes widened in fear, made me feel sorry for causing him to worry that I might leave him as he has always feared.
However, I know this is the only way to give the sister what she wants. If I don't intervene in this, Jyn and Tin might be separated because of her brother who doesn't seem to want to entertain such thoughts.
"If you don't want your sister to leave with him because he's a rogue, then, I don't think my presence is needed in your pack, Fern."
