From within the floor in the middle of the lecture hall, a small sphere with multiple incisions in it, ascended. Following that it started radiating some rays of light that formed into a rough structure of a human body as the voice of the Teacher sounded.
"Wheel of Chakra, if someone studied this name prior then they would know that both 'Wheel' and 'Chakra' have the same meaning." He said walking slowly in the center of the lecture hall.
"Then does anyone know what difference these two words possess?" He asked, hoping for an answer.
In reply, Lyris raised his hands to answer.
"The 'Wheel' in the name denotes the modern period whereas 'Chakra' refers to the ancient period." Lyris answered, totally confident about the answer.
"Although your answer has some facts, it is totally wrong. Anyone else?" The Teacher proceeded to savagely shut his confidence that stemmed from excessive pride.
Maya immediately raised her hands with excitement as if she had just discovered the answer to the question. After receiving a nod from the Teacher she proceeded to reply.
"The 'Wheel' in the name refers to the external power whereas the 'Chakra' refers to the internal power." Despite her answer, she did not appear confident but more like she knew the answer was right.
"True, as expected from the daughter of the Monarch. 'Wheel' is the external manifestation of the internal 'Chakras', that is what humans at your level would be able to understand and comprehend." The Teacher complemented and explained then suddenly his gaze landed on Aria who seemed to be deep in thought. A smirk formed on his face.
"Aria, would you mind answering the question I asked?" He said, trying to catch him off guard.
Aria on the other hand was indeed caught off guard, his consciousness was totally devoted to comprehending the meaning behind the name 'Wheel of Chakra'.
The Knowledge regarding it had been culminated by the 'Athenaeum' and had been transferred to his mind directly.
"According to my perception, the 'Wheel' is an interpretation of the cycle of macrocosm and 'Chakras' are the result of comprehension of the microcosm." He answered without an ounce of hesitation. It must be known that 'Athenaeum' was itself a manifestation of the entire Knowledge in the Universe, it was as perfect as the Universe itself.
His answer not only stunned the entire lecture hall but even the Teacher was stunned. Hearing his words the Teacher's consciousness was blasted with an immense level of understanding. The image of a human being appeared in his mind with that being's heart radiating the light of the sun. Just as he was about to comprehend something----
"Don't spout rubbish and try to act smart! Just say so if you do not know the answer." It was Maya's voice that unexpectedly broke his session of enlightenment.
The Teacher turned his head towards Aria then towards Maya and his eyes turned cold.
"What do you know? Am I the Teacher or are you? Keep your mouth shut and sit down." His cold voice along with the heartless gaze pierced Maya's body into pieces, who in return wanted to rebuke but dare not.
She glared at Aria in return who was looking at the Teacher and smiling. Her pupils emitted a thick malicious desire but she immediately suppressed it.
The Teacher then looked at Aria hoping for something, but alas he had lost his chance. The Teacher too knew that such an opportunity was not hard to come by and it touched the domain of the workings of the Universe which could only be achieved by someone who had complete control over their Chakras.
Sighing, he resumed his lecture.
"Continuing from before, the Wheel of Chakra has a total of ten levels and each level multiplies the power of the human body by a factor of ten. Since you have just begun we shall not dwell on the higher level. Today we shall begin with the bottom."
One could see that the cadets did not have much enthusiasm, in fact they even seemed a bit bored as their eyes hurriedly darted here and there. If not for the fact that the use of tactical watches was prohibited then many of these cadets would even have begun to start browsing.
But Aria on the other hand listened to the lecture with total attention. It was not because he had zero knowledge about it, but more like a habit. According to him, one must never ignore the importance of experience and must always listen to others first. This not only helped one increase their perception but sometimes it also allowed one to observe the universe in a different way.
"According to the research of the Academy scholars, life that each individual, be it a human, animal, plant or the foreign races possess, is also a form of energy. And like every other source of energy it follows a cycle. One's body is the representation of a single cycle for that energy. When the cycle comes to an end, the energy leaves the body and begins a new cycle with a new body." The Teacher explained the thesis behind life and he continued without bothering to look at any other cadet.
"The very act of our training lengthens the cycle of life resulting in boundless strength as we proceed further. To explain this let's use an example." Saying so, the Teacher appeared near the projection of the human body.
He pinched his fingers and the projection was reduced in size. Swiping his hand he pushed the projection aside. Using his forefinger he then proceeded to draw a small circle. Then he created an even smaller circle and placed it on the circumference of the circle.
"Now, this small circle is your life and the bigger circle is its cycle. It begins at one point," The Teacher said as the circle started to move along the circumference. It was just about to complete the entire cycle but stopped just a bit before.
