Chapter 27 - General's Order, Flustered Old Seven

After getting out of the crater Orn's vertical irises were firmly locked on Aria, but just like before Sara stood in front and forced him to divert his attention.

{You must provide this noble one with an explanation!} His thoughts were relayed into Sara's mind along with anger and murderous intent.

Sara scowled in disdain at those thoughts and proceeded to contact her superior using her tactical watch. A few beeps later, the face of a woman was projected on the screen. Due to it being just a projection it was hard to determine the exact features of her person.

{General, sir!} A firm and serious expression emerged on Sara's face as her body immediately went into attention.

{My dear, what happened?} A calm and collected voice drenched in the river of time, sounded from the tactical watch.

Sara conveyed everything that had happened before as she secretly kept a watch on Orn and the other envoy who was still at the same position as before, totally not bothered about what was happening.

{Hmm, I see. Bring that child along with the envoys to my zone. We shall proceed with our conversation there.} The General's voice this time sounded a bit cold as she mentioned the envoys.

"You heard the General!" Sara reported as she stared at Orn and the other envoy.

Orn still had his irises latched onto Aria and the person in question was frowning in annoyance.

'I did not think there would be anyone capable enough to find my strength, even after the Athenaeum suppressing it.'

[Host strength is not disclosed]

Athenaeum explained that Orn had not found out his strength; rather he was just following his instincts.

Orn could only nod after hearing Sara, who turned to face Aria.

"Cadet, inform your guardians so that they don't get flustered. Don't worry, no harm would be done to you. As for your friends they shall be shifted to the Academy's Hospital." Sara conveyed and called for help.

Aria nodded and used his tactical watch to send a message to Old Seven, informing him about the incident briefly.

-Whoosh-

Along with a short breeze a huge rectangular platform descended from the sky as it gently placed itself on the ground. Two soldiers in uniform wearing a red band with a white '+' sign could be seen on the platform with two hovering beds in tow.

Aria was surprised at their swift and grand arrival. In his short time he had only used the capsules for traveling and hadn't seen any other form of transport.

Just as he thought about it, some information about the transport system appeared in his mind.

The two soldiers alighted from the platform ramp and saluted Sara who pointed towards the Dron and Jasmine lying on the ground at the entrance.

Pushing their hovering beds they approached the duo and gently placed the duo on their respective beds. A short white transparent shield covered their bodies as the parameters that he had seen during his stay in hospital appeared on the screen.

Sara nudged Aria to board the platform as she escorted Orn and the other envoy on it. Once everyone was onboard the platform automatically started moving upwards and after achieving a certain altitude it took a diagonal motion.

Aria gazed at the direction they were moving, which was one of the topmost rings surrounding the huge mountain in the center.

'Is this how everyone travels? Fascinating! But for how long is that old lizard going to stare at me!'

Even though Aria had integrated with highly advanced technological knowledge, it was his first time experiencing one.

On the other hand Marshal Seven was seated cross-legged in the meditation hall pondering over the workings of the Universe.

{Marshal, you have a new message from Cadet Aria.} Little Ki's sudden voice sounded from the communication system within the hall.

"Hmm, why is he contacting me? Did something happen? Send it to my cabin." Ordering so, he immediately alighted from his location and proceeded towards his cabin.

Seated on his chair in his cabin, Old Seven was reading the text message and his expression soon turned sour.

'This! Why did this have to happen now!'

Thinking so, he immediately asked.

"Little Ki, show me the footage from the previous incident."

{Acknowledged.} Little Ki's voice sounded and the scene at the entrance of the First Pavilion played out.

-Sigh-

As the scene ended, Old Seven sighed as he rubbed his forehead.

'What troublesome fellow!'

He thought as he contacted the Hospital director. After asking the director to ensure that utmost care has been taken for Jasmine and Dron, he donned his military jacket hanging on the edge of the chair as he headed towards the balcony.

At the edge of the balcony Old Seven stood on top of a metallic board and gently tapped it with his feet.

-Beep-

A short beep sounded and the board started hovering.

-Flash-

A blue light flashed from the bottom of the board and it soared towards the horizon with Old Seven in tow. Destination, Academy, the uppermost ring surrounding the mountain.

Meanwhile, the platform with Aria and the rest in tow reached the uppermost ring and gently lowered itself on the open ground. Just then, few people approached the two soldiers after saluting Sara. The two soldiers were shocked with their arrival, but did not speak anything. In fact in their whole journey they were mute. Soon Dron and Jasmine were taken to someplace.

"Let's go Cadet, the General has been waiting!" Sara said gently as her face turned cold while escorting the envoys.

This time the envoys were moving ahead and thus Aria was freed from Orn's gaze. He was absorbing the scenery around him. Unlike the Academy at the foot of the mountain, this ring-like structure was on an entirely different level.

'There is this heavy and ancient feel to the structure. I can even sense some threatening auras around here. But none of them can compare to Old Seven. Are there no other Marshals present here?'

Just as he could observe anything else, Sara stopped and so did the envoys. Before them was another structure, or to be precise, a house.
