"This is the end of your life cycle. The period when the energy of life leaves your current body to enter a new cycle." The Teacher explained.
"Now, what we do is we increase the diameter of this circle which is the same as lengthening our life." He used his fingers as he increased the circumference of the big circle making it go much bigger.
"You can observe that life would require a much longer time to complete the cycle. But you can also notice that this type of lengthening is harmful for the body as the thickness of the life cycle, that is your body, decreases which might lead to immediate breaking of the cycle and your death the more you expand." He said as multiple gaps were starting to rise on the circumference of the big circle.
"That is why we train our body, in order to increase the strength i.e. thickness of the body. But now the question that arises is what do we use to increase the thickness of our cycle?" He completed his sentence as the huge circle stabilized.
"You see, the Wheel of Chakra will definitely help with this, but the rate of progression for this technique is very slow. And in order to win this war we needed great warriors that could match our formidable enemies. That is why we come to our next part." The Teacher said as he pinched and swiped the circle aside.
"Our Scholars researched the human body and discovered the code that would help us unlock our potential at a much faster rate than meditating and discovering ourselves while trying to connect with the Universe by using the Wheel of Chakra." While he said so, two ribbon-like strands appeared as they intertwined with themselves, the gaps between the strands were filled with small support-like constructs forming a double-helix structure.
"This, my fellow cadets, is the code of our life that exists within each and every smaller life i.e our cells. After this discovery, our scholars searched for a method to tinker with this code. They tinkered with the code in order to reprogram our cells and make them more stronger, denser and compact. Although this method worked, they were not able to make it work on the scale of the entire body which is more complex." Explained the Teacher.
The projection then changed to a screen that displayed various humans being injected with vials of some fluid. At first, the humans were fine as they were clenching their fists and jumping up and down, checking for changes. But then suddenly one of them gained a huge tumor on his hands and they burst apart. Followed by another at some other part. Just like that they all died from various different mutations.
"This is what happened. The brave heroes who sacrificed themselves in order for the current generation to become stronger. These brave heroes were not from the Academy, instead they were normal humans who lost their families in the war or lost their loved ones in the war. They wished for the loss of their loved ones to not go in vain and thus volunteered for this trial." Completed the Teacher as the screen vanished on the projection.
The lecture hall was drenched in silence, each and every cadet looked at the video and felt the courage that their predecessors displayed despite possessing no strength or power. Their wills were strong and their heart blazed with the pure intent of helping their future generations.
Aria too watched the video and nodded subconsciously. There were strings of texts on his retina.

A stream of fresh information was transferred directly to Aria's mind as the Teacher continued.
"The scholars finally discovered a cure. It was cryosleep, they would make the body experience near death and inject people with the same fluid with a low dose and once injected in their cells, they would be brought to normal life in a controlled manner allowing the fluid to spread throughout the body evenly. Although it worked, the life expectancy of such a human was very small. Their cells were dying way faster than the scholars predicted and the Wheel of Chakra could not help much with containing that."
Another screen appeared.
On this screen various people submerged in giant tubes filled with liquid had their bodies frozen dead. The video then changed as it now displayed a human who was lying on someone's arm as she spewed blood. But then suddenly her body started to decay at a rate visible to the naked eye, she instantly turned old with her sunken cheeks and hair gray followed by turning into ash.
"Now, Lyris, considering your field of Theoretical Science, I would like you to pay attention to the following part. Not only him but everyone else too." Teacher said as he looked at Lyris who was paying attention to the video with curiosity and then at everyone else.
The screen closed and the Teacher swiped his arm, the pair of circles appeared once again.
"What the fluid did was to strengthen the circle of cycle but it did not enlarge it, instead the effects of the fluid reduced the volume of the circle making the cycle much shorter and increasing the speed by which the life energy traversed." As he explained, the bigger circle's circumference increased in thickness and it started shrinking, whereas the smaller circle now had a bigger track to move, and it increased its pace.
"This fluid that you just saw was the prototype of the current generation Genetic Liberators. And the code that you saw is what we termed as 'Gene'. Now before I proceed I would like to ask if anyone can think of a method to solve this problem? You can try your best even if it may be absurd. Especially Aria and Lyris, I would encourage you to try to think of a solution. After all, you both desire to enter the Science Division." He said as his gaze landed on Aria, hoping for the guy to come up with something new this time.
