"Okay, so tell me, Ian. What are we dealing with?" a man with blonde hair and a pink t-shirt questioned Ian.

Ian sat opposite him with Niko and Raelynn at present.

As the pre-production began a few weeks ago, he was able to find the main cast during the past week. And that was after a handful of actor-hunting. Ian tried to find as many actors as he knew from the previous world but he couldn't.

He ran databases to find different names—-surnames, middle names and first names, but apart from the actors he knew, he couldn't find any—except one.

Nevertheless, he found suitable actors for the main cast, except that 'one' but he still had a few other side characters to fill in.

"Hm?" The man in front of Ian questioned once again.

He was the production designer.

As usual, the production designer held an important role in making the movie. But this time, Ian had to change the designer due to an unfortunate incident—an incident such as his previous set-designer migrating and taking a vacation.

"Well, the Star Wars universe is a vast and captivating fictional world, and it has to be… very captivating at a glance. The details and the setting will be multiple planets, species, and eras."

The man in front of Ian nodded—without saying anything. Niko and Rae, who sat side by side, nodded along as well.

"If I'm being brief, in the core of the universe, there'll be battles between the forces of good and evil. The story revolves around the Jedi, an order of powerful warriors who are in tune with a mystical energy field called the Force, and their struggle against the Sith, a dark and corrupt order seeking to dominate the galaxy. This conflict sets the stage for epic lightsaber duels, interstellar battles, and moral dilemmas that explore themes of heroism, redemption, and the balance of power.

Anyway, moving ahead with the settings… From the desolate desert planet of Tatooine to the lush forests of Endor and the bustling city-planet of Coruscant, each location in the Star Wars universe has its own distinct flavour and cultural identity. I'll tell you what those names are, but you should know that the cultural identities are unique."

Cadel Lee had his mouth opened by the end of Ian's description. But the director had tried to give as minimal descriptions as possible.

He didn't want to scare the designer away knowing his history, but he also knew that he couldn't sugarcoat the depth of the project.

"What do you say?" Niko asked, leaning forward.

Ian made sure that Niko and Raelynn grasped the project during the past few weeks. It was because he would need their help around the set and production.

"I don't think I can do this. I'm sorry, I've never done anything like this, so I think you should find someone who can do it," Cadel said and sighed.

"You're giving up?" Raelynn asked and directly looked into his eyes.

By the little action, Ian and Niko both were taken back.

"It's a lot. Capturing the idea of space—never done that," he said and shrugged.

"Well, we won't ask for more. But if you can give it a try and succeed, the profits along with your name will shine. And you know yourself that no one ever made a space soap opera," she said, being honest.

Cadel Lee was already a well-famous production designer. But he was known to be someone who walked only within his boundaries. He had denied more than ten designs just because he believed he couldn't do it.

The glass ceiling he had created for himself was unbelievable. Considering how he was a great designer.

"I saw this coming," Niko whispered to Ian. "Just like you said."

It was true. The production designer was as important as the characters—maybe more, at this point.

He was someone who would work closely with the director and other creative departments to visually design and realise the environments in which the story takes place.

They oversee the overall look, style, and atmosphere of the sets, ensuring they align with the director's vision and the needs of the story. The Production Designer should also be lenient enough to work with various teams, such as the art department, set decorators, and construction crew, to bring the sets to life and create a cohesive and immersive world for the production.

"I can't, I'm sorry," he said and stood up.

Raelynn shrugged. "Leave it to me."

He walked out of the room, and Rae followed him.

Ian sighed, seeing what happened.

"This is why the man got famous in the industry," Niko said and let out another sigh.

Ian nodded. "It will be fine. I'm sure Rae can fix it. Anyway, Niko… What's happening with your work?" he asked, hinting about the Godfather.

"Well, it's going well. We're finding it hard sometimes to get the perfect vintage look, but we're trying. You should come around, I can really use some help. Because at times, I just feel like nothing is changing for how much I've been staring. Ugh," Niko said while rubbing his face.

"I'll be there-"

Raelynn walked inside the small office where the meeting was held.

"Done. He's in. What's next?" she asked with a satisfactory smile.

Ian smiled and Niko high-fived Raelynn. Things just started.

"We were just discussing how the Godfather editing is ongoing. Ugh, not going to lie, I wish we had some help."

Ian frowned.

"You need more help?"

"Yes. We're working from morning to night, and even if it's not me, the team gets quite cranky after four days of work. Ian, can we hire some more people? At least for this project? So, I can make shifts and finish it soon."

"That's a good idea. Not just for this project. It's just about time we expand things around here," Raelynn said and sat in her chair.

Ian agreed.

"It's about time, yes. Niko, do it yourself. Rae, tell me everything you found about Harrison Ford," Ian said, suddenly remembering the one person he found.
