As the event went on, people kept on walking in and trying different things that were around.

Ian and the team kept watching everyone from afar.

"Seven hundred downloads already," one of the teammates from Feazel Gaming whispered while still, the music was high, and the whispers were high.

"That's good. How about the reviews?"

"Well, many people are coming from the social media campaigns. So, the reviews are still developing."

Ian nodded, "It's a success."

"We wouldn't want to hear anything else."

Ian saw a man wearing a black hoodie roaming around the PC. He was looking under his hood and his eyes locked on the computer screen.

The gamer named Creator, who Ian knew was on the stage, had his eyes aimed at the screen. He was extremely focused. His girlfriend was filming the entire game. She was cheering him hard on, and at parts, she'd gasp, she'd jump, but also keep the crowd entertained.

Around the couple, other people were surrounded—including this man, who had his hood on. He was very suspicious.

Everyone around the centre was enjoying the game, yelling things, taking pictures and trying to simply have a good time, but this man was intensively watching the game.

"9 o'clock."

Ian mumbled and looked at Steven, one of his bodyguards. Steven looked around to see who Ian mentioned.

And for his confirmation, he saw the black hood guy.

"Give it ten minutes, sir. Could be an innocent person."

Ian nodded and went back to his conversation with Campisi. But down his heart, he saw that it couldn't be normal.

A man wearing a black hoodie with a heavy, big bag at the gaming expo. Nothing sounded normal.

Steven paused before doing anything.

His eyes were on the man as he saw him changing his position. He walked around the gamer and stood next to the stage.

"Code yellow, black hood. Security check," Steven talked through his walky-talky.

A man dressed in a security uniform walked towards the hood guy.

[At a house]

The house was raunchy. There were dirty clothes everywhere. The windows were old, the couch was old, and the entire two-room apartment was old.

The walls were dirty to the point where one could hide themselves.

The surroundings were eerie. If a man ain't haunted, there was no one that one could live in such a rat-hole. But much to everyone's displeasure, there was a man who lived under that roof.

"Fucking stupid bullshit! Fuck this!" a man cursed in a loud voice. He was at least pounds, and in his hand, there was the controller.

"Fuck fuck fuck, man. This fucking shit made me waste two weeks just to end it as if it's a fucking dream? Ah!"

He said and threw the controller on his bed. He turned around to see his roommate with his ears covered by the pillow.

The roommate clearly was not having the best day. His eyes showed how badly he wanted to have some peaceful time.

"Ah!" the other guy made exasperated noises once again.

"Can you please shut the fuck up for once in your life? You've been playing this shitty fucking game for weeks. And ruining my sleep. I work night shifts and it's a fucking headache. If I had enough money, I'd have moved out a week ago. God, you're a terrible friend."

The guy who was sleeping still had his eyes closed.

"My chips are over. I'll order takeout again," the former said without giving heed to the one who was asleep.

-

After a few minutes, the guy who was asleep was awake. He was on his phone as he had nothing else to do except listen to his friend's venting.

After some time the guy who just woke up looked at his phone with his eyes widened as if he won the lottery.

"Dude. Dude. dude. Check this out," he said and pushed the phone to his face.

The guy who stuffed his face with the chips looked at the phone. His expression went from suicidal to someone who found his life goal.

"Are you fucking kidding me? 4.98 ratings? How the fuck?"

"Well, this is your chance. Try playing Resident Evil. If you're going to go global, it'd be like a big chance."

The lottery the guy got lucky with was peace. And his sleep. What better thing life could offer if not a good sleep? And it seemed like for a few more weeks, he'd get some good sleep.

Because he knew from how the gamers had reviewed the game already, within not more than four hours of launch. And from how the game layout was appreciated over and over. It turned his attention.

And the main reason he was following gaming trends was how he used the same tactic to get good sleep during the day-hours before. Thus once again, the mission was accomplished.

[Back at the gaming expo]

With the launch, the game was being played at different places at the same time. This meant the game went global, and the numbers continuously kept increasing.

Yet at the Gaming Expo, there was something that needed the attention of the security.

"I don't trade drugs here, I'm here for the expo, of course. What else do you expect? I've been here every year for the past three years, dude."

The security continuously asked questions and kept on going. It was a bad move as the only thing that was suspicious was the dress code. But somehow, in his bag, three laptops were found.

"Hey, what's going on here?" Ian emerged out of the crowd and questioned the tall guard.

"This man, sir. The one who kept gawking-"

"PewDiePie?" Ian's voice came just above in a whisper.

"Sorry? I'm JinxPlays on U-Tube. Uh, what is with your guy, sir?" the man said and hung his bag over his shoulders. "I'm a big fan of your work. I'm interested to play Resident Evil, where should I register?"

A hidden smile appeared on Ian's face.

"Take him to register."

Ian looked around and combed his hair with his fingers. "The night just got interesting," he thought.
