[A/N; From the continuation of shooting! And guys, who watched Inception? I'd like to know! Thoughts about the movie?]

The speaker, COBB, is 35, handsome, and tailored. A young Japanese man, Saito, eats as he listens.
"A bacteria? A virus?" Cobb asks.
Cobb gestures at their feast with his wine glass
"An intestinal worm?"
Saito's fork pauses, in mid-air. Cobb GRINS. A third man is at the table- ARTHUR. He jumps in to save the pitch
"What Mr. Cobb is trying to say," Arthur starts to speak.
"An idea," Cobb replies.
Saito looks at Cobb, curious.
"Resilient, highly contagious. Once an idea's taken hold in the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. A person can cover it up, ignore it- but it stays there."
"But surely to forget...?" Saito questions.
"Information, yes. But an idea? Fully formed, understood? That sticks... (taps forehead) In there, somewhere."
"For someone like you to steal?" Saito asks back.
"Yes. In the dream state, conscious defences are lowered and your thoughts become vulnerable to theft. It's called extraction." It was Arthur.
"But, Mr. Saito, we can train your subconscious to defend itself from even the most skilled extractor," Cobb says.
"How can you do that?" Saito is now curious.
"Because I am the most skilled extractor. I know how to search your mind and find your secrets. I know the tricks, and I can teach them to your subconscious so that even when you're asleep, your guard is never down."
Cobb leans forward. Holding Saito's gaze.
"But if I'm going to help you, you have to be completely open to me. I'll need to know my way around your thoughts better than your wife, your analyst, or anyone. (gestures around) If this is a dream and you've got a safe full of secrets, I need to know what's in that safe. For this to work, you have to let me in."
Saito gives this a flicker of a smile. Rises. A BODYGUARD opens double doors which give onto a LAVISH PARTY.
"Gentlemen. Enjoy your evening as I consider your proposal."
Saito says. They watch Saito leave. Arthur turns to Cobb, worried
"He knows."
Cobb motions in silence.
A tremor starts and they steady their glasses, Cobb glances at his watch- THE SECOND HAND IS FROZEN.
"What's going on up there?" Arthur asks.

"That was good…" Ian said after a pause of watching the few dialogues they were able to shoot.
It had been 12 hours to the shooting, and on the first day itself, Ian thought and decided on letting Leo dive right into it.
"You sure? I mean, there's got to be something that has some errors, all these shots are within ten takes… Leo is new…"
Ian looked at Raelynn, giving her a tight smile.
"This is more than what I can ask from him on his first day. We might have to retake three dialogues, but everything else looks good."
Ian said and smiled.
During times like these, when he'd sit back behind the camera, and listen and look at how the dialogues would smoothly come out of Leo. As if the character was meant for him.
Although his presentation skills needed more polishing, Ian believed that the movie would automatically come to him with time. This was also why Ian suggested that he should read the script some more time to get a good grasp of it.
There were several things that Ian found interesting about the original movie. It was especially how Leonardo had explained about the director… After Ian's self-realisation, he lived in Paris, he knew that copying movies would bring him nothing but guilt and shame, even for his talents and skills.
But remembering and seeing from his memory library how Leo and several other actors had talked about Christopher Nolan in interviews… It made him want the same. Or at least a relatable memory to leave behind with all the actors who he worked with.
He remembered how Leonardo DiCaprio in his original world had talked about Inception.
"What happened? I have no idea," DiCaprio had once talked about Inception when he was asked in an interview. "You're just focused on your character, man. I do get involved [with the story], but when it came to Christopher Nolan and his mind and how Inception was all pieced together, everyone was trying to constantly put that puzzle together."
And in return, Christopher Nolan had an equally impressive impression of Leonardo DiCaprio. Before the preproduction of the film even started, Nolan knew that he wanted Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead. Because of this, he took extra care in filling out the supporting roles, making sure they would all complement Leo as well as possible.
Nolan has said that he admired DiCaprio's previous work and felt he exhibited the discipline, dedication, and relatability that he felt were necessary traits for allowing audiences to connect with the film's protagonist.
Instead of casting based solely on star power, Nolan chose actors who played DiCaprio best and felt right around DiCaprio as Cobb.
The ensemble cast eventually wound up including multiple Academy Award winners and nominees, many of whom – like Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, and Cillian Murphy – have appeared in Nolan's other projects before and since.
Nevertheless, the case of Ian was much different. Ian found Leo at the end of pre-production, yet the chemistry between the co-actors went along so well.
Thus, after everything was prepared and settled, it began—The greatest shooting process in Ian's career—Inception.
