The weather was chilly but it could not match the cold eye of Olivia who walked and sat on the chair with ease as if she did not have a single worry in the world.
She straightened up her collar as she asked, "I need a better nib, ink and some parchments."
Alex stared at James as if asking, "did you not hear the child?" who trembled and stood up to get some parchment and ink and then passed it to Olivia who looked at him with a face full of arrogance.
"Master, we would never question your decision. Do we really need to do this?" Tavern interrupted with a look of frustration on his face. He ran a hand in his hair when Alex did not reply to him.
Olivia tilted her head and stared at him with a half frowning face, her eyes were still cold but he paid no head to her as he continued to stare at Alex as if still waiting for his response.
But Alex only walked to her and sat beside her. Though he did not say a word, his action told who he was supporting.
