Cedric slit his throat without hesitation.
"Miss me as your family Alex." was his last words as his limp body fell on the ground making Olivia flinch.
Alex wrapped his arms around Olivia. She was not sure if he was trying to give her strength or he was leaning on her strength but she did not refuse. She wrapped her healthy arm around his neck and closed her eyes.
She wanted to give Cedric a trial. It was her way to prove that she was serving justice, she was not forcing death on him like he forced it on others.
"If he would face a trial, his whole family would be dragged into it too." an open trial! The person guilty of treason would be hanged with his whole family, friends and close associates to make sure that none of them would nurture the seeds sown by the culprit.
"You want to go meet them?" He was surprised at how easily she had accepted it. As if all his worries had only been in his mind and it had nothing to do with her.
