"Are you going to start a war against father?" Although she did not like the man, she killed him. She felt guilty and hurt for some reason when Oli paused.
She looked at Amber who was worried for her family and laughed.
"Why would I wage a war on my own family? Since Alex is the emperor now, did it not make the empress?" There was a look of amusement on her face that made Amber embarrassed.
That was right! She was going to be the mistress of the palace but soon her embarrassment turned into bewilderment as she frowned.
"Then why in the world did you need knights as allies? Should you not try to befriend noble ladies?" Amber could not help but ask as she looked at the slum areas where they were walking.
She covered her nose with her handkerchief as her face scrunched up by the awful smell.
