Alex drew the cigarette closer to his lips and left the whiff in the air with his eyes staring at the ceiling. It had been long since Oli left but he could not take out his irritation yet.
Her father was at fault! And either she believed it or not but he had loved his mother. If he had not been a coward! There might be a chance that he fell in love with her mother and lived a happy life but it did not change the fact that he had ruined a life.
What Cedric did to her father was only to take revenge! The thought relieved him and irritated him at the same time as he took another whiff when the door was knocked.
