"We have shown you all the three houses that come in your budget, sir. All three of them are fully furnished and come with a back garden.
No matter which one do you chose, you would not suffer any grievances.'' The young man smiled broadly as he waited for the couple to choose one of the houses and then he could enjoy the feast with his wife after selling the house at such a good sum.
That was why he liked selling goods to foreigners who did not have any idea about the price.
"We will take the first one, thank you." Olivia nodded her head as she did not care where they were going to live as long as they were able to live freely.
"That is a wise choice. I will create the papers. You can shift this instant as you have requested. But for that you have to give me half of the money in advance." nodding her head, they have already prepared for it, so they passed it easily.
The man left hurriedly as they entered. The house had almost everything. Bed, sofa, study table, dining table kitchen utensils.
"But we still need bedsheets and other stuff and groceries for the kitchen. You should have looked for a smaller house." The house was a two storey building with six rooms but that was the smallest place they have ever laid their feet to.
Olivia pursued her lips. She knew that her sister was trying to adjust over everything. Even when they went out to have food, she would look for the cheapest not for what she liked.
"You do not need to worry about that. I will be back with groceries from the money we still have and then look for other methods to earn money." Ophelia looked at her with a stern gaze as if telling her she did not trust her.
"Tsk! Just wait here alright!" without giving a chance for her sister to nag, Olivia hurriedly walked out of the house when Ophelia shook her head and looked around.
The house was closed for a long time. Even if they have cleaned the floor. There was so much for them to do. She shook her head as she started cleaning.
On the other side, Olivia had just bought some groceries when her eyes fell on the board.
"Needed fighters for a competition, winners could get gold coins as reward for each win!" her eyes showed gold and that greedy expression returned on her face.
Without much thought, she entered the room and registered herself when they stared at him and laughed.
"Hey, we are hiring men, not young boys who still have their milk teeth. Leave before you are beaten to the limit that you would not be able to recognize your own face!" She could not blame them, though her height was equal to an average man with 5'7 feet. She was too slim and had feminine features.
As a princess, she had to take care of her body and stay on the leaner side. Who would have thought that she would be made fun of for that very reason.
"What does it have to do with you? Either i win or lose it is my responsibility.'' With a fierce look in her eyes, she snatched the parchment and signed it under the stunned gaze of the men who started laughing later.
"Since you have a death wish, who am i to deny?" They looked at each other with a meaningful gaze and let her go in.
Soon she was taken to the stage. The large crowd was already gathered down there.
"Though many of them are novice, they have huge talent and a few of our winners have always been selected for knighthood entrance.
So, I hope all of us give our best and will win as much reward as we can. From now…" Olivia rolled her eyes at the righteous speech of the man.
He was making the young man fight for money while the person standing below would beat them. This is nothing but another way to gamble yet he was presenting it so righteously as if he was a great man.
If it was not for Ophelia, she would not let go of her morals, but she knew that it was not time to cry over that.
From the malicious gazes of them, she was sure that they were going to give her their strongest contender. But it would be fun to clean her hands before going back home. It would be a good practice run for her.
"So, now I announce our first match. The old time winner of our match, James and the new player that joined us at the last moment, Oliver." last time winner. Huh!
Olivia gave a once over to the man who was standing in front of her. He was 6 feet with broad muscles and strong biceps. He would be around 100kg, she was sure.
He picked up a piece of wood and broke it into pieces earning gasps and howls from the crowd while she looked at him amused.
Was he a kid that was trying to show off? While he was trying to gain the attraction of a woman sitting down there. Olivia was looking for his weak points.
"Why? Are you scared already?" asked the man with a chuckle while looking down on her.
Olivia blew the hair falling over her face and smiled at the man who looked stunned. For a second he felt mesmerized by the jade skin of the man that looked better than most of the women sitting there.
But shook his head with a frown when he realized what he was thinking.
"Why don't you attack and find the answer rather than standing there and talking all this time?"
