Amber's eyes widened. She ran to hold Oli whose face distorted with pain.
"Are you okay?" she asked when Oli nodded!
"Give me a second! I will just rest.. Since.. All of them are on their knees too." damn! That last one hit her with full force, she could feel the pain like hell.
She tried to smile to assure the young girl but Amber could see the bloodshot eyes and her hands that were still bleeding.
"I.. I am sorry!" Though she felt useless while sitting there, that was all she could do. Wait! She could do one more thing.
She had read many romance novels. .when the man got injured, the woman tore her dress and bandaged him.
She blushed at the thought as she looked at oli who raised a brow at her sudden change in attitude.
"Did you remember something?" she asked with a smile, glad that the girl was not afraid anymore.
If something happened to her, then Alex was going to skin her alive.
