Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Electricity

Electricity

Luna takes a deep breath, of course, how can she kill them? She can't even kill the animals, how? "Enough! Enough! Enough! Nobody's going to die. Stand up!" the woman commanded them, but the manager of the workshop still remains kneeling as he knows his fault, saying "Your highness, this lowly served the emperor all his life, and still lacks the capability to do such a task, I asked Your Royal Highness to kill this lowly to deserve his ignorance!" "Lord, no!" all his men scream.

Inspecting this, Luna sighed. She knows exactly what will happen, how can the ancient men understand the physic of the modern world? Otherwise, if she wrote it in English, it would be funny because all those formulas don't have an origin in Cambodia, it was discovered by western scholars. The only thing she can do now is to guide them herself so that she will get the electricity to charge her computer.

The Royal Princess commands the men to find the material for her and she stays there with the workshop worker to invent her DC motor in order to charge her computer. But almost a day, it seems like there are still many materials left to find, since it is ancient times, she cannot go and just buy the battery to create the electricity herself.

Luna came back to her castle with tiredness, "Huh, back pain, shoulder pain, headache... why is it so hard just to invent an electric motor to charge my laptop? Now, I don't..." but she suddenly remembered something, murmured, "Huh? If I'm already transmitted to the new world, why do I still have to do homework?". Thinking of this made her overjoyed. Yeah, it's a new world! Yeah, of course, and she doesn't have to work to survive anymore why would he be hard on herself to do such homework and assignments?

Luna laughed happily alone on her bed, thinking she would be free for her student-hood life now, but then suddenly a walk sound came toward her. That was a beautifully dressed woman with all gold jewelry on her clothes and body, but... well, half-naked again.

" Sister! I heard that your illness turned so serious." The woman came to her with a worried facial expression. Despite this, Luda doesn't know who she is, and she tried to escape from her, asking "Who are you? I never had a sister! I am the only daughter in the family" Of course, she hasn't used to this world yet, and still thinks she is Luna of the modern world.

The beautiful noblewoman came with her head wearing a high and priceless crown different from others; she is the Empress of the Khmer Dynasty "Jayarajadevi the Empress". However, for Luna, they are just strangers that she never knew and she has to protect herself from them.

The Empress burst into tears, seeing her older sister's symptoms become like this. It was all for her that Princess Indredevi has to block the fallen rock and got her head bumped like that, it was because of her that she asked her sister to hang out to discuss her personal depression when the Emperor was always busy with work and had no time for her. But now, her beloved and caring older sister becomes like an alien that she doesn't even remember her own biological sister.

Jayarajadevi the Empress cried out her tears in front of the maids and servants, watching her sister escape from her, complaining, " It is because of me that made Sister becomes like this! I'm sorry! I'm sorry that from a young age you were always the one to protect me and always the one to injure instead of me... Sister... I'm sorry!".

Hearing this, Luna gained consciousness, yeah, in this world she actually has a sister and her sister is Jayarajadevi; she's not Luna anymore.

The woman looked at the Empress that is not different from the child crying for help anymore. She walks slowly toward her and examines her face to see who she looks like in her modern world. She was beautiful, and looked more beautiful than the statue carved. Her face doesn't look like anyone she knows in the future world. Of course, if she never gets out of her house, how can she know? And as an arrogant introverted person, she only got to know a few people counted as her low-level friends, not even a close friend.

" Are you my Sister in this life? Jayarajadevi?" Luna asked. She couldn't believe that she was transmitted to be a sister of the woman that the next generation of people praised everywhere, every generation.

The Empress suddenly hugged her tightly in her arms, crying like a baby hugging an adult. Luna patted her hair softly, comforting her, "It's okay, it's okay. Don't cry! Even though you're beautiful even when crying, it could make you have red eyes."

The ways she comforted her sister are far weirder, but it would make this beautiful less worried that her beloved sister would get head bumped until forget everything.

The Empress smiled, and lifted her hands to touch her sister's face, saying "You are the only one person that is a goddess to me. I promise you; I won't let anything happen to you regardless of whether I die, won't let anyone hurt you".

Looking at the Empress, hearing what she was saying, Luna felt a bit of pain in her heart, thinking to herself "How could you protect me if you know that I am the only one who is going to take your beloved husband away from you? You will be in pain, and you will hate me... but, I hope that I can change the history so that it won't hurt you that much."

After visiting her sister, the Empress has to go back to her castle which is located in the big palace with the Emperor. Whereas, the transmitted Princess Indredevi as Luna, sitting alone in the doleful face, eating her meal alone thinking of what would happen next.

"What a bad sister! Why in ancient times would they have the same husband as her sister? No, it's not because of her! But it's because the men in this ancient period have more power over women so that they can take whoever they desired. So bias! I will not agree with that, even if I have to die, I won't do this immoral story. Otherwise, I will change this ancient culture and then the women won't be submissive to men anymore, `WE HAVE TO BE EQUAL! `" Luna shouted out with her hand lifted up, holding grapes to eat. The maid was surprised by her reaction.

She might be called the weird princess the next day, but who cares? She just comes here temporarily, not forever anyway.

Unanticipatedly, the system pops up again before her.

~~The System: Congratulation! We celebrate for the Protagonist now, knowing how to think! The Good Protagonist's point +50; "Thinking about benefit able things" ~~

Hearing this makes Luna burn her ears, shouting back in her mind, "You scum system! Did you just say I'm good for nothing?".

~~The System: That would be a compliment! ~~

Luna, "Yahh! If I'm good for nothing, why did you choose me to be a protagonist?"

~~The System: The world would be untidy, if we don't do the recycling system. In order to make the world functional smoothly, we have to recycle the trash to make the new useable stuff. So, it won't pollute the environment. ~~

Nobody knows where the system learned all these sarcasm words from, but that would hurt Luna enough to find the Head system when she goes back to the modern world.

Luna hopped from her bed, trying to fight the invisible system. Cursing with all her will, "You scum, idiot, stupid, immoral System!! You dare to say I'm trash?!! I will kill you! And when I get back, I will find your mastermind head system and sue them to prison. You scum!!!".

The fighting scene alone like a crazy person made all the people who saw her speechless. They never thought that the perfect woman with all her personality, softness, and capability in handwork as a woman now became an absurd girl.

After fighting tiredly with the system, which she couldn't touch but anyway, she still chose to fight it. The Princess sat back on her bed, trying to catch the breath evenly. The maid came and asked her with knees bending to the floor, "Her Royal Highness, do you need me to call the Royal Doctor to examine your illness?".

The noble lady takes a glance at the woman and sighs, "Nobody can treat this illness! It hurts inside my brain, and also inside my heart! I wanted to go home, but that stupid system doesn't allow me to go and I have to be stuck in this ancient world..." Luna looked at the older maid as age as her mother, continue "Auntie if you live far away from home without knowing where, how do you feel? How do you feel?".

The older woman heard this and look and her with puzzled eyes. She was with the Princess from childhood, raising her, looking after her, she was a nanny for them. But now, the Princess became so ill after arriving at the Palace of Angkor. As a nanny, she was so worried. On the other hand, she never heard the Princess call her "Auntie" so casual like this, or is it because she missed her family so much until she wanted to call her so close as her family?

The old woman started weeping, feeling sorry for the Princess. Whereas, Luna got no clue why she would cry? She only thought of something that she wanted to speak her mind out because it was so stressful with no one understanding her, which makes her feel like a weirdo among the ancient people.

" What? Why would you cry? I just asked for your opinion!" Luna added.

The woman still crying and said, "Her Royal Highness, I know that you miss your family so much that you can't even control yourself to act like you were with them. You must miss the time you played kite so much... Ahh..." the woman continued crying, thinking that the Princess's previous action was the way she imagined that she was flying the kite with her siblings.

Luna slapped her own face with disbelief. Everyone here thinks differently from her, or because she was different? She sighed. With the boring atmosphere, the Princess walks outside alone to take a breath of natural air. Outside in the night, the reflection of diamonds that were inserted into the Statues of the Temple reflects the light of the moon beautifully like heaven. Compared to the yearly Angkor Temple in the future world, which had been through countless war periods that had almost been destroyed, it made her so emotional feeling pity for this country.
