Li Li didn't want to part ways with them, but she knew it was impossible, as she too would have a new family in the future, a lover and children, and would move from one group to another.
"Let's not talk about these sad things; let's go find something fun to do," Li Li suggested.
Lan Ning still remembered that Li Li wanted to be in a relationship. Although Li Li claimed she wanted to devote all her heart and mind to studying, Lan Ning could tell that Li Li was still longing for love. Others were either getting married or already hitched, while she remained alone, which must be somewhat upsetting.
"Li Li, let's go and pray for love," Lan Ning said. "I've heard that hanging red plaques on a tree can help you find your own love. Let's give it a try."
Li Li muttered, "It's no use praying to anyone; I just can't find love." But she still went along with Lan Ning.
