Tan Rou and Samiyi lay on the bed resting, not having bathed or crawled under the covers to sleep, but simply lying on the blankets for a few hours.
At daybreak, noises began outside, waking Tan Rou. She stretched lazily, then reached out to wake Samiyi.
"It's time, we should go," Tan Rou said.
Samiyi rubbed her eyes and slapped her face a few times before suggesting, "Let's go down and find Gand first."
Tan Rou couldn't stop Samiyi, so she had no choice but to accompany her to look for Gand. Just as they were about to leave, Tan Rou suddenly noticed two sets of clean women's clothing on a rack by the door. The door was already locked, and there was no sign that it had been unlocked, so the clothes must have been arranged before they entered.
